I enjoy beta-reading. Not only does it give me a chance to read a wonderful story, but to also help and critique those in order to make it even better. I like stories with naturally good grammar, so not too many mistakes. I don't mind short stories, but I do mind 500 pages-long stories. I will take those, however, if you send me parts periodically. Do NOT expect me to beta-read an entire story for you. We can however work something out, so don't be afraid to PM or email me with any suggestions. Also, on a similar note, do not expect me to beta-read a chapter as soon as you send it to me. I, unfortunate as it is, do have a life. I will get to it as soon as possible. I tend to focus not only on grammar but on the story's overall message as well. If I think that a passage or sentence does not fit very well, I will inform you of my opinion. Your final say is what will make the change, however. If given permission, I will write or change certain things for you in a way that I think the story's portential would be better displayed. I excell specifically in the areas of grammar and imagery along with using interesting words to display an action. If something is repeated in a story, I am good with coming up with a way to change it so its saying something different, but still getting the overall message across. I do well in the areas of imagery as well; I excell in describing scenery so your story doesn't have all dialouge as well.

My weaknesses are limited, but are living. I make some grammar mistakes here and there, but nothing extreme; they are very mild. Other than that, I cannot think of much of anything that is a weakness besides my tendancy to obtain writer's block.

As long as your story's genre works, I am fine with it.

There is only one type of story I do NOT wish to beta-read and that is a story involving a mary-sue; anything that is cliche or already written a million times. I like to be surprised when I beta-read; I am a normal reader, just helping you along. Please don't send me things I've read a thousand times before.
