I'm an Aspiring Writer who wants to improve his critiquing skills and his fiction writing skills. As such, I want to get as much practice as possible, so feel free to send me your story.

My Writing skills are strongest in the areas of non-fiction and argumentative essays. My writing tends to reflect this, minimizing unnecessary description (I'm a firm believer in the idea of conservation of description), maintaining strong grammatical and formatting standards, and having more of a streamlined feel to them.

My first received beta review described one of my stories as a "bizarre, adjectiveless dissertation". Yeah, my stories don't exactly have an artsy feel to them.

Not especially. I'm a big fan of a few series (check my profile for lists) and would prefer to review stories in those series, but otherwise I'm cool with whatever you want to show me.
