I think my greatest strength as a beta reader is evaluating plot. I am good at catching spelling/grammar and format mistakes, but I'm not one of those betas who will get stuck on those little details and forget important elements like plot, flow, etc.

Often; however, I am brutally honest. If something isn't great, I'll tell you it's not great. I prefer to be positive but will be harsh when it is necessary. People who only want to hear good things about their work should most likely not choose me.
Despite that, I am pretty good at giving encouragement and being positive, especially when there are a lot of good things to say. I do like complimenting other people's stories if the story deserves to be complimented.

Also, I NEVER hesitate to tell you if I believe a character is OOC. My pet peeve is out-of-character-ness, and unless you are purposely striving for OOC (and I am aware of this) I will be brutally honest if I feel you haven't correctly portrayed a character's personality.

My greatest strength is catching word-related errors such as spelling or incorrect word usage.
Also, I can tolerate anything. I enjoy reading the weirdest crack pairing or the darkest deathfic. I also don't mind citrus. So you can entrust me to read basically anything and not having to worry about me being squeamish or disgusted.

I am, as mentioned before, a stickler for in-character. Also, I am not the world's fastest beta--long stories may take me a week or more to finish. I have a busy life, and while beta-ing is something I enjoy, I often don't have as much time for it as I wish.

No real preference, but I do have a weakness for fluff/romance.

Yuri lemons are not my favorite, but I can tolerate them
