I am extremely picky about grammar. I reread sentences that sound strange and reword them until they sound correct. I do not believe in allowing mistakes. In English class people always come to me to peer edit because of how critical I am. I am willing to beta for anyone, especially people who need a beta because their grammar is not so keen. I am a friendly person, and I would never put down anyone's work.

Grammar is a big one for me. I am also good with words/contractions that are commonly messed up such as "your, you're" and "there, they're, and their". Those are my pet peeves. I am also good at noticing when a story lacks good flow. My own work may not be perfect, but when I read someone else's work I am able to pin point parts that do not work.

My spelling is not the strongest. I always use a spell check. Even though grammar is important to me, I do not know all of the rules. However, I know enough to where I could fix obvious and nauseating mistakes. I guess the part of grammar I am not good at is subject verb agreement. I sometimes mess that one up because it is not always obvious.

I prefer romance and comedies. Sweeney Todd is a horror story, so I can accept horror in that form.

I do not like to read stories that are completely sexual in content. I am okay with small amounts, but if they're having sex in every chapter, that is not something I would want to read. I am also not big on horror stories. I do not like stories that focus on made up characters, either.
