There are a few musts in a story I beta: a functional plot, understandable phrasing, a defined setting, protagonist, etc. As a beta-reader, I can help the author portray what they might be struggling to weave into words, perfect wrongs in grammar, spelling, and rewording sentences that may seem confusing. |

I excel at understanding "the deeper meaning" of a story, if you may. Or to put it in other words, the theme. I am also good at grammar and spelling, or unintentional mistakes in general. |

Gakuen Alice/Twilight stories are what I prefer to beta, but other than that, there are no preferences. |
