You must be willing to actually make the corrections...for spelling especially. I am also pretty strict about following rules, so if your story has (for example) a real person in it, I won't 'turn you in' but I will tell you to change it! |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I correct grammar, spelling, and awkward sentances. I can come up with ideas for chapter content if needed. I have a very nice vocabulary of adjectives and large words. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Sometimes I don't notice very minor spelling errors, but I get them most of the time. I let fragment sentances go most of the time: not because I don't see them, but because they are still readable and are done on purpose most of the time. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
Any big franchises (Marvel, DC, Narnia, LOTR, HP, ACOTAR, etc) please no anime or cartoons (unless its the Avatar universe). |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
Not a fan of lemons or slash. If there's (some) sexual content important to the story it's fine, but I don't want to read your fantasy porn lol |
