Hello, I'm Reiko. It's a pleasure to potentially meet anyone who stumbles across my profile. As a beta-reader I'll be looking for any grammar problems, structural problems, and just to ensure that a story flows and there aren't any contradictions within the overall story. As far as style goes, everyone has a different writing style, so I won't step on any toes to try and change the writing style of the author. So if I seem like a competent beta-reader feel free to message me, or if you have any questions regarding my editing style.**Also just as a note: I have very few trigger warning. If you write exclusively rated M or NC-17 fic, then that's fine. I read Yaoi, Yuri and Het so there is no limit on the amount of sexual/adult content you can have. **

I am bilingual. I speak Japanese, so if you happen to have any Japanese words or conversation within your story I'll be able to help. I am really flexible time wise and I'm fast reader and communicator. So if you're pressed for time on releasing a chapter or fic I can help you on that note. I value keeping characters, well, in character. So being able to help guide characters to staying in their "true character" is what I'm good at. I am good at keeping structure, and knowing how to build upon each paragraph to maintain a certain flow. Depending on the type of story my editing style will change to be able to match and still maintain the essence of the style.

I am not very good with punctuation corrections. I know the basics but, as far as being able to know if, "hey that's clearly a comma splice" or "that semicolon is unnecessary!" Then I'm sorry that isn't my strongest point.

Preferred: Well I prefer to beta stories that I already have a high knowledge set for the characters, stories, etc. Mainly I have interests in many anime and manga story plots; mostly a lot of popular series but, I like many not so popular series as well. **I know a lot of anime so I won't list them all. You can just shoot me a message and I'll gladly answer if I know the series or not** I am knowledgeable in certain comic book series in both the Marvel and DC realm. I don't usually read fanfictions for movies and books, but as long as I really know the movie [example: Pirates of the Caribbean] or book [example: Harry Potter] then I'd be more than happy to beta your story.

Will not beta: I will only turn down to beta a story of a series that I am not comfortable with. So if I am never seen or even heard of the particular fandom then I apologize but I'd be or no help to you really. (;v;) Also anything under the category of Sci-Fi, Parody, Spiritual, and Western I don't have a strong affinity for it.
