I primarily look for major grammar mistakes or serious misspellings, although I do try to point out some of the minor ones as well. Furthermore, I also inspect sentence structure to ensure that it flows in an understandable manner. And...that's about it! XD

As far as my expectations are concerned, I generally do not accept stories from catagories that I have no experience in since I know nothing of the content. Believe it or not that can be a problem when dealing with works that could be considered of an artistic nature.

Correcting sentence structure, major grammatical errors, and major misspellings.

I often miss minor gramatical errors (as can be seen in my own writing), and on occasion I may inser puctuation marks that aren't neccesarily needed. However, most of the time they do not take away from the story either.

I generally prefer more "slice of life" style stories, but I also have no qualms with betareading any other genre as well. In fact I'm very open about anything concerning genres.

I WILL NOT read over stories that are under 3000+ words per chapter. No offense, but if they're shorter then 3000 words that self-correction should safice.
