I generally only beta for friends or at least acquaintances. My style is that the author drives the characterization and plot. I focus on flow, structure, grammar and diction. I'll comment on plot when there are holes or when canon characters seem to go ooc. |

I don't have a lot of time for writing my own stories, let alone proofing others. I'm a polishing editor, not someone who is going to tear apart your story and help you rebuild it from the ground up. |

I prefer stories that show rather than tell, where characters learn, develop and change in believable ways. |
