Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I would like anyone whose work I beta read to have done at least a basic spell check, but do not expect everything to be perfect. I have experience as a writer, and would like to be able to aid other writers by beta-reading. I aim to respond quickly to messages, however college does take up a large amount of time. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I beta-read with a fine toothed comb, and focus mainly on grammar, spelling and paragraphing, but am also able to give some feedback on flow, pacing and characterization. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I myself struggle with writing speech, so the feedback I can give about making conversations feel natural is limited. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I am a huge sucker for anything hurt/comfort, or with worldbuilding, but enjoy most genres. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
I will not read stories of a sexual nature or with an abuse relationship. I am fine with blood and gore though. |
