I will beta-read any story that is interesting to me, and believe will be a success in the FF archives. I can read before a proofing, or after as a human proof. I will only beta for, at the moment, semi-literate authors that truly, truly need the help and are willing to better their vocabulary and grammar. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I double and triple read, send back the original, unedited chapters, then a revised/edited copy and point out where the author can improve. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I often skip over parts that bore me. I'm so ashamed of this, but it's true. I also miss words more often than not if I don't triple read. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
My preferred fanfictions are action/yaoi and fluff yuri. Nothing too smutty kids, because there are minors accessing this site. I love crack pairings especially. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
Hardcore Het, or ridiculously long series. I also can't stand crossovers and Gravitation fanfictions. I won't betaread Self Insertion, Sasuke/Naruto, Riku/Sora, Sora/Roxas fanfiction. |
