Hello, My name is Kay. My Beta style is as follows: I will read over the chapter you've sent me and mark out any grammatical errors or awkward phrasing with brackets of suggestion. It is up to you whether or not you choose to take the advice I've given, but I just want you to know it is there for you to play with and to make your own. As for expectations, I only ask that you remain true to what you've written and take my advice to heart. I will not be harsh, but I will be honest.

I have an eye for errors and I can usually pick out awkward phrases or writing cliches. I tend to have a very descriptive style with my own writing, so I am very good at metaphors and creative descriptions.

I tend to read things as I would have liked to hear them, so I promise not to miss errors I've mentally self-corrected by reading over each submission slowly and with care.

I don't prefer much. I write a lot of Phantom of the Opera, so being able to beta such stories would be a treat. But, I will beta anything. :)
