Emily and the Sprites of Light, continues the main character, Emily May Harrison's journey and focuses on the Power of the Imagination, with the idea that 'Everything is Alive'.

When a beak-faced monkey aspirates next to Emily, she realizes that she may be as mad as her Gran's long-time companion, Mamasita, who is terrified of the African Xhosa tokoloshies. When she meets Josh, a spiky-haired street kid who know things, she is given clues to the Shimmers, and the parallel world of Aurana. So begins Emily's journey into worlds unknown.
