Sherlock is 16 - living in Italy during World War II - His father is a Nazi soldier, his brother is training to follow in his father's footsteps. Sherlock begins to grow curious of what is through the woods behind his new home after seeing smoke that gave off a horrible scent. When doing his own investigation, he meets John Watson - a boy in a concentration camp.
