Saving the world's a tiring thing - no one asks you to do it, but you end up doing the dirty work nevertheless because no one else does. You know what heroes need? A damn good vacation. And it seems Beacon's the next stop for these fun-starved protagonists who have zero business in Remnant... Well, Ozpin's screwed himself. Royally. (Sporadic updates. Written for the lulz.)

Words spoken at an exact place and time will always bring change, however slight - and it's always a question of it being for better, or for worse. And how do we know which of the two it is? Sometimes, just because it's what the box shows when it's open, doesn't mean it's all there is to it.

His last year in Soubu begun with quite a high note - the resolution of his clubmates' requests, following his path to the genuine, witnessing the collapse of a stagnant group of friends, and reconnecting with enstranged parents. However, there's no rest for the wicked as angels turn to predators, and Hikigaya Hachiman becomes the coveted prize for these lovestruck maidens.

His life was wrong as usual. Everything was crashing down, and the happiness he thought he'd found was all but an illusionary game played out by forces against his will. It was wrong as usual - perhaps it was time to change that statement.

Life moves ever forward-never back to where it started, always onward despite the struggles, the pain, and the loss. But even if the path is set, he knows just how much change the slightest of choices can make, and that makes all the difference. (AU; updates will be infrequent).
