I am a 25-year-old female born and raised in the South.

I recently graduated from college, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication with a focus in Public Relations.

I worked at Abercrombie and Fitch Co. as an assistant manager at Hollister Co., one of Abercrombie's sister stores. I was there for a little over a year until I was offered a position as a store manager at Victoria's Secret. I never saw myself going into retail, but it's a job I have grown to enjoy. I am planning to begin graduate school at UGA in the fall of 2013 to obtain my masters in speech pathology. (I'm going to be broke...forever...) :-)

I’m a perfectionist when it comes to myself...and a people pleaser. Two things I'm working on changing because if I've learned anything within this past year, it's that perfection isn't possible. I'm human and make mistakes...God made me that way :-)

I have beautiful friends.

I love everything to do with music. I sing all the time :-) I'd like to think that I'm not too bad...HA...because I perform at clubs and such around town, and lead worship at my church. (And I'd like to hope that I'm not torturing all those people I'm singing in front of - lol...) I'm in the process of trying to learn to play the guitar...(TRYING being the key word) It's painful...for everyone involved, especially my poor roommate who has to hear it...ha.

God has blessed me in so many areas in my life. I've been through A LOT in my life...especially over the past four years. But despite all of the things I've been through, I am blessed to still be standing. (And while I wrote the next sentence over four years ago, I feel it still remains true: I am a very optimistic person who (is determined to) find the silver lining to almost any situation.

God is good. :-)

I love meeting/talking to people

I hate letting go and saying goodbye

I love genuine, sweet people – and I try to be the same to everyone I meet :-)

I love blasting music from my car, and singing at the top of my lungs

I love beautiful lyrics – especially anything I can relate to

I love dancing and being crazy with my friends

I love quotes. Anything inspirational. I'm a very positive, optimistic person (Well...I strive to be that way at least) so I try to surround myself with positive, beautiful things.

- STITCHERS (LOVE this show. I'm hooked...line and sinker)

- Pretty Little Liars (despite the fact Marlene King's ability to play my heart strings like a fiddle. I have no resolve and I come back every season)

- Greys Anatomy, Scandal...and pretty much every other show Shonda Rhimes produces

- The Blacklist (Red is, without a doubt in my mind, Lizzie's father. Brilliant show.)

So that’s about me. Yeah…I know – I should be ashamed because I’m always on here reading and I’ve never sat down to write a thing. I really should – one day. I’m just more into writing music. But who knows…maybe I’ll try my hand at writing one of these things one day :-)
