Author has written 4 stories for Sailor Moon, and Inuyasha. Hello, As you know you may call me Pearl Knight. I'm a 24 year old woman who has by passed her dreams of law enforcement and jumped into military life... but I still have my romantic dreams. Thus I have come to you, the readers of this fine site. I'd like to share my stories and in a way keep that innocent hopeless romantic alive in me... I hope you like my little love stories. I hope they inspire you to write and dream at least a little bit. My main attraction to this site though are you, the writers. I love to read your work. My biggest wish to all you writers is that you grow. Don't let flames dash you or hold you back. Write what you like and what feels right expand read and learn and do it all on your terms. If they don’t like it tough they don't have to read it. Even a story written by a child with all the mistakes you can dream of is beautiful, because its their imagination, or your imagination, put down for you, or me, to experience. I don't know you, and maybe I haven’t read your work, but it’s perfect. So write! Write for yourself, your friends, family... just write. I am thankful for all of you that read my work, but I'm more thankful for all of you who write your own. I love to read as much as I can and review as often as possible (I feel I don't review often enough to be honest). You refresh my mind, touch my emotions, make me smile, cry, or laugh out loud, you move me and in doing so you teach me. So, thank you, from the bottom of my heart, thank you all for writing and reading and not being afraid to share a piece of you with me, I don't care if it's your time or your imagination your sharing, both are equally important. My best advice - be kind. I believe that reviews can both be very encouraging and very helpful. But most of all... they can be so incredibly hurtful. Don't you remember how eager you felt to read your first reviews or to hear what people thought? I do, and I thank heavens that my readers have been such a joy. Be helpful not harmful. When you leave a review make suggestions and don't forget to praise just as much as you suggest improvement. Simple things can mean much more to the receiver then the giver. So try to give positive... you never know just how negatively something might be taken. It takes a lot of confidence or at least guts to post a piece that you have written for millions to see, it also takes guts to tell someone what you think of their piece and be honest (with tact rather than regurgitating harmfully) about it. So, feel proud of your work or your review, you did something important for someone else. Thank you for reading this and I hope you enjoy my work as much as I'm sure I will or have enjoyed yours Your humble serving author, Pearl Knight |
