Author has written 20 stories for Teen Titans, Harry Potter, and Bridge to Terabithia. GENERAL DISCLAIMER: I do not own anything in my stories except for whatever characters you don't recognize and the plot itself. I have to put the disclaimer here, because I just realized that I forgot to put it at the beginning of some of my stories. This disclaimer here applies to ALL stories on the page below and constitutes my legal protection from being sued. Actually my penname was supposed to be "oracle" as in the Oracle of Delphi but that was already taken. I tried putting a zero in place of the letter O and it didn't show up, that's how I got this penname... Go ahead and read the stories... An Observation on Teen Titans. In nearly every Teen Titans fic I've seen, Raven's eyes are amethyst or purple (usually amethyst). Why are Raven's eyes never violet? Robin's eyes also seem to be mostly blue, although they are sometimes other colors. While in the Teen Titans section, I've noticed that the Robin/Starfire pairing is more common than Robin/Raven. However, the Robin/Raven pairing seems to have greater probability of lemon (check the M-rated Teen Titans fictions and confirm this for yourself). In general, Raven seems to be more sexually active than Starfire, and has more possible partners; something which I think deserves to be surprising, given the known character traits of the two characters. If you look around, Raven can be paired with Robin, Beast Boy, or Cyborg, with roughly equal frequency. Starfire has only Robin. My analysis of the Cartoon Network Teen Titans show: It seems like Starfire is attracted to Robin, but Robin might or might not reciprocate. He shows roughly equal concern for both female Titans. So I think anyone who says "the show supports a Robin/Star pairing" should watch the "Birthmark" episode. Robin seems to care a lot for Raven at that episode, so we don't know his allegiance at all. When I first found Fanfiction.Net, I was looking only at the Pokemon fics. Later on I found the Star Trek section, and I spent most of my time on the site in that part...then I discovered Star Wars, then Teen Titans, and now Harry Potter. I was a bit late in coming to the Harry Potter section, and I wonder what kind of fan I am as I don't intend on buying any of the Harry Potter books and probably will never read any of them, but yet I'm still interested in the whole story. An observation I make on Harry Potter: Have you noticed how little mention of the Weasley extended family there is? Why don't the seven Weasley kids have any aunts/uncles? The only one mentioned is Uncle Bilius (who is already dead). In essence, Arthur's branch of the Weasleys is the only surviving branch. How is this possible? Each generation of Weasleys seems generally very large (Arthur has seven kids) so presumably, Arthur's siblings (or Ron's aunts/uncles) are all dead or gone...Might that explain how the Weasleys continue to be pure-blooded after being blood traitors for so long? Every generation, they produce several sons (with the very occasional daughter thrown in here and there); but never more than ONE of their sons survives to have his own family. That son always 'just happens' to be the son who married a pureblood witch! In other words, all the Weasley boys who marry a non-pureblood will die! Perhaps this is some sort of a "Curse of the Weasleys" sort of thing? |
