Howdy there fellow readers, internet wanderers, and/or possibly Hetalians! You either have absolutely no clue how you got here, or you came here looking for some juicy life details on the so-called 'GoofieDaisy'! Well, either way, you've stumbled into the right place, my friend! So congratulations, all are welcome!

In a nutshell, I'm really just a dorky farm girl raised in the city with a strong passion for the pen and unnaturally enthusiastic patriotism for the USA! Yep, I've loved to write, read, and even draw for as long as I can remember! But the more I think about it, the more it really just boils down to the fact that I have an overactive imagination. XD In order to document and share some of my more wild fantasies with others - who could quite possibly enjoy them just as much as I - I've taken to the tricky art of fanfiction in my spare time! (Haha, what spare time?... I should REALLY be doing homework right now... XD) I treasure the ability to create things probably a little more than I should... There's just something so invigorating about being able to create entire worlds and stories - virtually anything you want - out of some lead and paper!

I've also developed a relatively recent, strange obsession with Thomas Jefferson and pretty much anything to do with the founding fathers or just early American history in general. (Yes, for those of you wondering, I do like Hamilton the Musical, but I've had this interest long before I discovered the play.)

Honestly, I really only found out about the entire existence of this 'fanfiction' thing a little over a year ago, (Where the heck have I been? I have no idea, I live under a rock... No, I'm not Patrick Star. XD) but I've found that I enjoy it quite a lot no matter what kind of a bad rap it gets. Like, seriously guys, some of the stuff I find out there is a million times more captivating than some book you have to buy at the store for twenty bucks. If you're gonna read something, then why not read a story about the characters of your favorite fandom instead? It's more fun and it's free! Plus, plus! Hey -I don't care what your teacher says, it still counts as reading to me! D:

If you've actually read all that, then props to you for being interested in my life and having the ability to keep up with my random spieling. I truly hope my stories won't be too terrible... Rest assured I'll be trying my best. : )

I would also like to mention that my username has absolutely nothing to do with any Disney characters. (I honestly didn't even know there were two named Goofy and Daisy until someone pointed it out.) It was an entirely original idea inspired by the name of my pet chicken, Daisy, and the fact that I'm a total Goofball (and so was my chicken). XD As for the unique spelling... well, I'm unique!

Currently, I'm mostly into the Hetalia fandom, but I also like Star Wars, Pokémon, and Adventure Time (Just to name a few...)! So, you can bet that most of the stories I upload here will be on those topics!

For those of you wondering, my favorite Hetalia characters are America, Britain, and Canada! I also really like Lithuania (Oh, Liet. :3) and a lot of the other Baltic/Slovak nations for some reason.

Another thing I'd like to point out... If I haven't made it obvious already, I only strictly do brotherly/familial Britain and America... FOR DA WIN!!!!!!!!!!! XD (Yes, I wuv my cute wittle bros together! X3) Sometimes I can't decide whether I like them better as brothers or as a father and son, because really both could work as historically valid relationships.

You could say I'm one of the few Hetalia fangirls who isn't solely in it for the pairings (Oh, come on guys, you know exactly what I'm talking about.), but I do admit, I have my ships just like the next guy. (Ex. AmeBel, AmeViet, CanUkr... alright fine, they're canoes...DX) I normally try to stay away from hardcore romance, but if I ever do write anything that's even remotely romantic, it will only be using heterosexual pairings. Sorry, but all that boy and boy or girl and girl stuff just ain't my thing... ":I

I have a truck-load of ideas! (and am constantly coming up with new ones all of the time... ':D) But unfortunately for me, I'm still in school, and that kind of hinders my ability to focus the things I want to focus on. DX I normally try to update as regularly as possible, but with so much else put on my plate, it can be difficult at times. With that said, during the school year, you can expect updates to be agonizingly slow. : ( (During the summer though, you can expect them to hopefully pick up... and by hopefully I mean 'IF there's no intense summer work knocking down my door'... Which I'll have you know, there is. D:')
