The Emperor is dead and the Galaxy is at peace - a delicate peace, but peace nonetheless, which allows the New Republic to fortify itself, and the New Jedi Order to experience a rebirth. But there's a new threat, one which may be more dangerous than the old Emperor. The Galaxy must endure a new crisis, as new players enter the scene.

In 1953, a group of red-blooded American teens fought against evil agents, mutants and Commie racketeers as the Trouble-Shooters. Sixty-five years later, their grandsons come of age and pick up their torch, fighting off modern day evils as the new Trouble-Shooters using their fists, moxie, and their mutant powers.

After a violent incident involving Reed Richard's Negative Zone Portal and a few Doombots, our Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is sucked into an alternate Earth, an Earth known as Earth 16, which is not in the same multiverse as the one protected by Merlyn. An Earth with a Justice League, and an unnamed team of youthful superheroes, who have just expelled the Reach.

An ancient, forgotten ship tears across the fabric of space and time, cutting through universes, collecting individuals from different realities. A robot, a botanist, a girl, a prat, a soldier, an old captain and a Lensman will have to survive as galaxies and eras are bridged, and the United Federation of Planets is exposed to a galactic force of unprecedented ruthless might.
