Holy shit. Well... It's many years later. I am certainly no longer a junior in high school, and though I still write fanfiction I have migrated to AO3 as I'm sure many of you have. I have grown a lot in these last seven years - I am 23, I have a full-time job as a high school teacher, and I just bought a house. It's a crazy thing to look back on your old life.

As most everyone has, my life has had its ups and downs. Overall, though, I am a much healthier and more stable person than I was back in high school. I hardly remember who that person is, to be perfectly honest, and that's how it should be.

I am still very much a "fan" and I will never be apologetic about enjoying things. I've swung wildly back and forth between deciding that I would avoid all "cringe" culture and be too cool for that sort of thing, and being a rabid nerd about anything that interests me. I think I've settled in a happy middle ground, and I also think that I've grown a lot from the person who used to make fun of others for enjoying things too thoroughly. That being said, I did physically flinch when I read the phrase "Loki keeps looking at me with those smoldering eyes."

I think I'll leave the bio below as a kind of history for myself to look back on, and for others who have come my way. We are all growing and changing every day in this big, terrifying world, and it's as scary as it is beautiful. Love yourself now and love yourself from your past, because you were learning, and that's all anyone can hope to do.

Hello! My name is Harper, and I'm from Fort Worth, Texas. I'm a junior in high school and I enjoy writing fan fiction as a way to let off steam and relax. I love writing and plan to major in English, and eventually teach.

I love most animals but HATE cats, can't stand the little buggers. I've got a boxer named Ellie and a parrot named Sparky, and a little brother and little sister.

I'm sarcastic, have a warped sense of humor, and I like to play piano at four in the morning. I have an opinion and I'm not afraid to state it, but that doesn't mean I'm too bull headed to see the other side of an argument. I pride myself on my intelligence, but at times I'm an absolute moron, and I'm not afraid to admit it.

I've got a snarky personality and phenomenal debating skills, so feel free to flame and argue with me if you wish.

So far, I've only written for House, M.D. , but that may change. Especially if Loki keeps looking at me with those smoldering eyes.

Favorite Books- The Maximum Ride series (before it got shitty), the Golden Compass series, My Side of the Mountian and all the sequels, OBVIOUSLY THE HARRY POTTER SERIES, and several others that I don't feel like typing because I'm tired from that spontaneous burst of caps lock and boldness. Also, GOOD LORD JOHN GREEN YOU WILL BE THE DEATH OF ME.

Favorite Anime/ Manga- InuYasha, Fullmetal Alchemist, Fruits Basket, My Bride is a Mermaid!, POKEMON (at least the first two seasons) Avatar, the Last Airbender, The Legend of Korra, Bleach.

And because you didn't read any of that, because you have better things to do, I congratulate you for not wasting five minutes of your life you'll never get back. And if you did... I'm not that interesting, sorry. I am a Nerdfighter though.
