I mostly browse on here, once my mind feels the need to wander. It comes in phases. With the state of the world as of 6/15/20, I think we all need some time to escape. My whole childhood was creating stories through art, writing, and videogames. I used to narrate new story lines, while playing on our N64 and Gamecube, that would drive my brother up the wall. Wow, that really dates me.

I have some original fiction from days when I had much more time to dream up whimsy and miscellany. A doctorate will suck all that time right up. Go to fictionpress.com and look up my username, PaintedAurora, if you are interested in seeing some serious blast from the past work of mine.

Potential Projects:

Intersecting Nexus: A sci-fi story focusing on the adventures of our hero, Jimmy Neutron, a year or so after the events of Season 3

- I've written about a 1/3 and conceptualized 3/4, with the hope of being done by mid-August. I don't want to start posting on here until I know I can finish it. It's been such a meaningful project during this time that I think I'll actually get it done. That would be a first in terms of my fan-fiction. So for me, this would be pretty monumental. This is the preface: Written during the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020. The content of this narrative contains the hopes and imaginings that carried me through a time where little could be controlled and changed. It was where I escaped to my childhood heroes and its words will always preserve the whimsy of nostalgia for the perception of a less complex world.
