09/01/2014 - Hello everyone, time flies and we are already into 2014, I apologise for the long wait but seeing as how we are in the home stretch of the story (I am now up to translating chp 231/269) I will hopefully not lose momentum again, two posts will go up tomorrow, 212-220 and 221-230 after I go through them one more time. So come back and enjoy later, hopefully I will finish the whole thing before 2014 Chinese New Year :-)

13/01/2013- Greetings all! Peace, prosperity and good fortune to everyong and let me wish all of you an early Happy Chinese New Year!

I do apologize for the lack of updates in the intervening months, as some of you are aware my motivation for translating the story was to not read the Chinese version to the end so that I would have to translate if I wanted to know what was going to happen. Around my last update I finally gave in and read the rest of the original story, this, coupled with the fact that I really didn't like the latter half of the story nearly as much as I liked the first half more or less destroyed my translation impetus and momentum.

Even so, I fully intend to finish the translation (as I promised I would), I will be a little busy until the Chinese New Year passes so look for an update around the end of Feb or early March.

Major thanks for everyone who left constructive, encouraging and/or positive reviews.

Please do not PM or review to ask me IF I AM STILL ALIVE, I consider this extremely rude and will not reply on principle.

Also, to the person who, from day one, has been negative, smug and sanctimonious (your first message went something like: well, its interesting that you want to try translating this and I will certainly enjoy the fruits of your labor, but it's not like you're going to be able to finish this anyway, your final message was along the lines of: HAH! I knew I was right and am all knowing, you've totally given up and can't finish this translation!). Frankly, although I am apologetic over how long the translation is taking, I do not believe that I deserve that kind of abuse, so, if you have any courtesy or respect for my rights whatsoever, I will ask that you never PM me or review my work again. Even if you do, I guarantee that I will not read it.

16/04/2012- Hi everyone, sorry for the lack of update this week. I have been really busy with some house cleaning and tidying this week but don't worry, I'll be back on the job next week and week hopefully post 2 to 3 sections soon.
