NOTICE:

No easy way to say this: I’m going on hiatus.

I’ve been sporadically updating my stories since I finished “Future Talk,” but from here on out don’t expect see much from me at all. I’ll continue to work on stories privately. I’ll upload in large batches when I’ve made sufficient progress.

My stories will be completed, but not for a long time. I can’t make any promises as to when. Sorry.

I just can’t take the stress of this fandom anymore.

I’ve been sent death threats. Rape threats. Countless messages telling me my writing is crap, flawed, gross, strange. Countless messages telling me *I’m* worthless, flawed, gross, strange. One guy took it upon himself to send me violent threats, weekly, for almost a year.

I don’t know how to function in this fandom anymore.

The last few times I updated, response was minimal. This doesn’t bother me. I write for myself, not for anyone else. I like sharing my work because I like making people happy, and my work until recently seemed to do that, but getting a response isn’t the reason why I post.

Here’s the thing, though: When posting even the most innocuous material incurs abuse, it’s time for me to stop posting. Not when the downsides so grossly outweigh the upsides.

I can’t and won’t apologize for taking my mental health seriously. But please know I am incredibly upset, making this decision. Though I’ve loved writing for Yu Yu Hakusho and have cherished knowing all of you through the fandom, I feel it best I remove myself from social interaction regarding this fandom. I won’t be reviewing stories or interacting with other writers using my Graphospasm account—not for a while, anyway, and not until I feel safe to do so again.
