My Stories:

Candid: Just a little Kings one-shot I came up with before the finale about Jack and Lucinda. Because no one ever writes one about them. And they're interesting, even if the finale did completely screw them over in a very rape-y way.

Better Man: Multichapter Sirius/Lily fic. My magnum opus of sorts. I wrote it when I was much too young and much too pleased with myself. It was kind of a mental experiment of mine that rapidly expanded beyond my control: What if I changed one little thing in the canon, what if Lily loved someone else? How would that affect everything else? So please read! It's finally finished, and I've gone back through and given it a good edit. But, again, it is finished, so you lot can stop following it now. There won't be anymore.

Maintenant: A one-shot checking up on each of the characters from the French film Le passé four months after Marie and Ahmad divorce. The movie is a little obscure, especially in non-French-speaking countries (read: USA) so look for it in the Misc. Movies section under Miscellaneous. Even if you haven't seen the film, give it a go. Anyone who takes the time to read it has my heart.

Downstairs, Waiting to Take You Home: A rather long Orphan Black one-shot tracing what happened between the time Cal took Sarah and Kira home from Dyad in 2x10 and he left Felix's for the night. I wrote it in a fit of self-indulgence, as I absolutely had to have the little bit of alone time those three had during the commercial break. I rarely ever post thanks publicly, but the OB community on tumblr has been so completely lovely in response to this. Je vous adore.

But Given Unsought Better: A Penny Dreadful four-parter that railroaded me after 2x01, because there seems to be a glaringly obvious solution to both Vanessa's situation and their crazily profound sexual tension. And also because my poor monster babies are trying to kill me. Part of it was way out of my comfort zone, so any feedback ever is more than welcome.

A Friend Given By Nature: The longest single chapter/one-shot I have ever written. I had a lot of problems with the fourth season of Orphan Black, but one of the biggest was the complete dropping of the relationship Mark and Sarah had begun inching toward by the end of the previous season. And the fact that we have no effing clue what happened to him and Gracie after Sarah went to Iceland, or even after he finished duping Dr. Cody. Oh well, c'est la vie. I just wanted Mark and Sarah to have a proper goodbye before he went off to parts unknown, and it wound up being this gargantuan thing.

I'm also a quarter of the way into writing a story about the novel I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith. It's not nearly comparable to Better Man in size or depth, but I'm quite in love with the thought of it. There is currently no category for this book, so I'm going to try to get FFN to add one when I start posting it. And I intend to have this one written out all the way before I put it up so that I can update it as interest demands. For those of you who know the story, it will be a continuation of the novel, focusing on what happens when the Mortmains and the Cottons cross paths again two summers after the end of the novel. I adore the book and am terribly excited about this story, so please be on the lookout for it sometime in 2016.

Also, there will very likely be a continuation of the 2010 film Womb (or, for some strange reason, aka Clone) coming out sometime in the next six months or so. Probably less.

And while I'm at it, who would be interested in a Barty Crouch, Jr. multichapter story? Any takers?
