One of our favorite agents will be trapped inside a pyramid filled with deadly traps. Guess who?

James and Artemus return to Washington D.C. from their voyage at sea to find a mystery at Headquarters. Colonel Richmond is missing many agents; one from each pair of partners has disappeared! Will Jim or Artie be next before they can solve the mystery? And does an escaped Federal prisoner, Voltaire, have anything to do with the missing men?

West uses one of Black Jacks's tricks in The Night of the Iron fist. This is the trick in Black Jack's point of view.

Jim and Artie once again find trouble in the middle of a case, but this time they must rely on their horses to get them to safety. Long ago, when I was a 10-year-old girl, I loved watching The Wild Wild West on TV. I loved it so much that I wrote my own story about Jim and Artie. (Back then I didn't know I was writing fan fiction! XD) In light of the passing of actor Robert Conrad on February 8, 2020, I felt compelled to locate this ancient manuscript and post it. This story was written as part of a story challenge for the Sheep Pen Fan fiction writers group on Facebook, of which I'm the administrator. The challenge was to write a story about the characters in either Black Sheep Squadron or The Wild Wild West and involve a cat or kittens in the plot.
