A rewrite of a fic I first uploaded 13 years ago. Hope you like it, you will need tissues.

My response to a fic challenge on a FB group. It was to write the aftermath of a tragedy without mentioning what happened. You will need tissues!

A Jill and Gordon affair story.

First of a series of oneshots about the younger generation in 1980s Elsinby, the fictional town featured in The Royal. In this 'episette' Aisling Ormerod, now 15, struggles with the trials of growing up in a flagging seaside town where trouble lies just around the corner.

Set after Series 6 episode 10 (Laura). Jill had turned down Adam's invitation to dinner, but what was really going through Adam's mind? What are his motives really?

The Ormerod's summer Holiday

Life has moved twenty years on since we last saw our favourite characters. Its the 1980s and for Tom Ormerod, a young doctor pushed to the limit, its both blessing and curse. Featuring some of The Royal's much loved characters including Lizzie, the Ormerod family and Mr Rose, this is a new perspective on the "what happened next" scenario.

Its the 1980s and in Elsinby, two new recruits are about to join the famous infirmary at St Aidan's Royal Free Hospital. Mandy Thwaite is a ditzy 21 year old joining as an assistant to Lizzie, whilst straight talking Kerry Wilshaw joins as a Student Nurse. Follow them as they come to terms with working in a country hospital with old faces and new faces!
