My take on what happened after series finale "Fatal Vows". Keeping it light (for the most part), and working Matt and C.J. into each other's arms. Keeping it in the 1985 timeline (so no cellphones, laptops, etc.), but will be bring some songs from the future in because they make me happy. Not my characters, just taking them out of mothballs and putting them through their paces.

Gruesome murders along the US-Mexico border prompt Homeland Security Agent Chris Oakley to ask Matt to face his demons and return to the Rio Grande - the site where his cousin Will was killed. Rated T for language and violence. **Immediately follows "Burn Card" **

What happens when a detective knows without a doubt that a suspect is guilty? Houston, Wylie, and Martinez take a road trip to Louisiana to find out the truth behind the disappearance of an elderly gambler and work the process (with a little help) to bring some justice to the victim. Meanwhile, Brian is learning a hard lesson about life and love. *Follows "What Comes Around"*

Yet another take on what happened after the last episode. Trying a slightly different style with less character study and more action/dialogue.

A high profile murder of a public figure puts LAPD Chief John Whitaker and Matt Houston in the crosshairs of the investigation. But life, death, and crime go on and while the murderer is being sought, Houston has cases of his own to work. Rated T for violence and language. **Immediately follows "Smokescreen"**

When accusations of murder lead a man to contemplate suicide by cop, Matt is asked to step in and help with the situation. **Immediately follows "Double Vision"**. Rated T for violence and language.

A nightmarish vision of a clown leads Houston back to Los Angeles to help out Hoyt on two murder cases even though the PI has been banished from the LAPD. Working outside the department the pair - along with the help of another friend - work to track down the killer. Will they catch him in time to prevent another death? Immediately follows "Dragon's Lair". Rated T.

But an early morning wake up call from an anxious studio executive about a murder puts travel on hold. The LAPD welcomes a new member to the family and life continues on - except for those lured too deeply into the Dragon's Lair. *Follows "Troubleshooter".

Houston's trip to Mexico to rescue Will from his drug lord cousin Diego left more than physical scars. With a lot of help, he begins putting the pieces back together again. But a phone call asking for his help puts him back in the crosshairs of a troubled young man with an abusive past.. **Immediately follows "Blood Relations"** Rated T for violence and language.

After more than a year of tracking down those responsible for putting out a hit on him, the final piece of the puzzle is left to place. Matt is drawn into a showdown with his drug lord cousin Diego in Mexico. There is more than just his life on the line when worlds collide and things are forever changed. Fresh from taking down Texas tycoon Donovan Lynch, Matt hits LA looking for his next target: Vasil Barkowski, the Albanian who arranged the hit that has been out on him for months. Will the take-down of one man lead to the next? Or will the contract on the PI be fulfilled? **Immediately follows "Under Texas Skies"**Rated T for language and adult situations.

Storms bring about a myriad of problems, some of which are deadly. While dealing with the aftermath of one such storm, Matt has a sudden breakthrough on the problem of the hit that is out on him. But revelations by CJ bring alarming information to light. Rated T for language and situations. **Immediately follows "Final Call"**

Not long before "A Glimmer of Twilight", both C.J. and Matt face New Year's far away from where they want to be.

This is that episode where C.J. gets amnesia and winds up in jail from the perspectives of different characters. Just borrowing the characters for fun.
