Not all of the supernatural beings Kolchak encounters are out to ravage mankind.

The man stood in front of his desk already, holding a handful of typed papers. Jamie at the door rolled her eyes significantly, and left, slowly closing the door behind her.

My mouth hung open for few seconds of shock as I tried to convince myself this wasn't happening. The stranger let out a slow breath with his jaw set hard. "Like a fly in his fist!" were the first words he spoke out loud.

A stand-alone second half of the story started in 'Full House'. "I've researched many a newspaper story in my day, and thanks to this vast general knowledge on a plethora of subjects, I know this; that the average human body can go three minutes without oxygen, three days without water, and three months without food. I was doing fine on the oxygen-thing..."

What would you do if you found a relic that was capable of healing people, but was swiftly deteriorating? Wait for something that could preserve it? Or use it to heal one more person? This is the dilemma faced by Carl Kolchak.
