This a Love Letter that I wrote after Dee Dee left with Alex. At a message board that I belong to we have a writing challenge and this time it was a Love Letter type of thing. So I decided to post it on here too. Sorry it's short.

In the season six episode Unfinished Business, we discover that Hunter and McCall shared an intimate night together. This is their story. Rated Teen for language and sexual situations.

I started watching Hunter a few months ago and I love Rick and Dee Dee. They needed a happy ending. My first and last fanfic for them. I just had to write something.

It seems only natural that Hunter and McCall would turn to each other during a crisis. But when McCall gets engaged at the same time Hunter is diagnosed with cancer, she is forced to choose between the family she wants and caring for her best friend in what could be his last days. How will this choice affect their relationship when Hunter is healthy again?

Take the events of 1987 (1 kidnapping and beating, 1 shot to the back, 1 attempted rape, 1 one-night stand), and add assorted relatives. Stir and behold the glorious mess.
