They crew of the Jackdaw marveled at the white stone ruins that stood in front of their anchored ship. Edward spoke in muttered whispers to Adewale about the plans should something happen. Dulce had taken an interest in the ruins looking them over. She didn't know who this Kidd was but he was very secretive and it made her skeptical. She got a really weird vibe from this place like it was not what it looked like. She turned seeing Edward moving to the edge of the ship and stepping on to the rail.

"No One leaves this ship. If I am not back in three days listen to Adewale and sail where he says." Edward turned and dove in to the water going to the beach. She watched as he started to climbed the wall.

She looked back to everyone as they went about daily routines and started to relax and chat. It was going to be an easy few days for them. She thought back to the day they were on Nassau. She woke up in the shack and was greeted by Squirt and Edward. They ate as Edward tried to talk to her with little success. She was listening but not responding to questions. She was "giving him a chance" as squirt said she should. She was still didn't like him to much but he wasn't as bad as he first came off.

They moved on to him trying to show her Nassau and explain she could stay there or continue with his crew. She would work and get paid and be free to leave when ever she wished. It was not a bad deal, especially if she had to find the children that held the spark from the apple. She could have him bring her to places so she can find these people but she wasn't sure how to find them. So she agreed for the time being to continue traveling with him.

The journey from Nassau to Yukatan was long but they were prepared for it. What she wasn't prepared for was the torture the men on the ship were going to give her. She was given a hammock to sleep in and the men found it needed to be hung off the crows nest. Later she managed to lock the entire crew out of their quarters. she didn't complain she got even. They tired stealing her food in protest to her but only managed to piss her off and she stole their food dinners right back or stabbed them with a utensil. She was standing up to the men though she was not sure how long till the men realized she wasn't going to let them win. It was the same with Ezio's recruits they tried messing with her cause they thought she was getting special treatment. They tried something she held her own, till they gave up.

Now they were at the place this Kidd told them to be at. Edward took off alone into a place he never been. She thought a moment before looking to the crew seeing they were distracted by their own things. With a smirk she stepped back and darted up on the railing before jumping to the dry land. Adewale hollered for her to return as did Squirt but she ignore them and paddles to land. She never did thank Ezio for teaching her to swim. She got to land and glanced back to the boat and darted away to the side. She looked up and sighed hating heights but bit her tongue and started the climb anyways. She followed the same path Edward did but a touch faster due to her smaller and more nimble size.

She reached the top and found a man laying on the ground. Moving over she rolled him over to see if he was dead and that was when she saw this man on the ground was an assassin. He wore the seal of the assassins and Edward knocked him out. Growling she ran forward finding another man. She looked over the edge seeing Edward moving through the trees trying to avoid these men and woman assassin. Looking down the path she saw a group talking quietly guarding the path. She waited a moment longer before walking up the path to the guards. They stopped and pulled weapons and she only raised her empty hands calmly to them .

"Who are you?" one called out.

"My name is Dulce Soto. A sister from Spain." She stopped speaking back in English.

"Prove yourself." They surrounded her a bit.

"The creed set forth by our brother Altair. We work in the dark to serve the light, Nothing is true." She spoke calmly looking to the men around her. "While man is bound by law, we work out side it, Everything is permitted."

"Why are you here?" They group lowered their weapons. "How did you get here?"

"There is a ship on the other side, their captain is on the island. He has injured two men on the cliff up there. I need to see your mentor." Dulce held her head high with honor among her brothers in arms.

"Right, You two go help those man and any others hurt. I will bring her to the Mentor." The larger man spoke and headed off waving Dulce to Follow.

They walked quickly in to the vast jungle and through the lush greenery till they came upon a massive white stone pyramid. Dulce was in aw of the structure. It looked so old, older then the colostrum in Rome. She was brought to a dark skin toned name he gave off the aura of being the one in charge of this brotherhood. She brought her hand over her heart bowing her head.

"Greetings Mentor. I bring bad new." Dulce looked up to him.

"Speak child." his voice as deep and demanded respect.

"I arrive on a ship on the other side of the island. Then captain of the ship, Edward, has hurt men on this island. I fear his intentions here are not fair. At worse he is a templar." She frowned.

"Does he know of you?" The man spoke.

"As far as he knows I speak no word of English." She frowned. "He has done nothing to prove his worth to my eyes. I have only been in his company two weeks. He said he is coming to meet some one named Kidd."

"We will have to go see to this situation then." The mentor walked away waving her and a few men to follow.

He strode to the other side of the ruins to find a young boy dressed in a brown and green coat red sashes and bandana. Next to the boy was Captain Edward. The boy was turning something and opening the stone wall. The mentor did not stop as he rushed up to Edward quickly and grabbed him.

"Captain Kenway." the mentor spoke and blocked a gun that Edward pulled out and pushes him to the side. The Kidd boy moved to break up the possible fight. "Where is the Assassin Duncan Walpole?"

"Dead and Buried. After he tried to kill me." Edward snapped ready to strike before relaxes and stepping back slightly.

"We are not sorry to see him gone" the mentor spoke calmly. "But it was you who carried out his final betrayal, Why?"

"Money was my only aim." Edward spoke like it was nothing to him. Dulce narrowed her eyes more to hear such things he had not noticed her among the other in similar colors.

Should I find comfort in that?" the mentor stepped in to him ready to kill by the sound of his voice. "You murdered our brothers and sisters in Havana!"

Edward had no way to respond to that and looked away from the mentor. He looked like he may have been ashamed of what he had done. Dulce was taking this emotion with a grain of sat. The silence was short but felt like forever till the boy spoke up.

"He has the sense mentor." Kidd chimed to try and break hostilities.

"James tells me you treated with a the Templars there. "the mentor back up. "Did you see the man they call the sage?"

"aye" Edward spoke calmly sounding upset

"would you recognize his face if you saw it again?" the mentor asked very forcefully

"I reckon so..." Edward became a touch confused.

"I must be certain." The mentor hummed and turned to Kidd before walking away with his men though Dulce stayed and that was when Edward realized she was there.

"Stronzo." Dulce spoke sharply before turning and walking away from him following the mentor. Edward turned to look at Kidd only to be told not to speak as they entered the temple.

Dulce caught up with the mentor as he moved back to his original location. He was not pleased and even less thrilled to share his thoughts. He turned and looked to his men waving them off to go do as they wished for the time being. He looked to Dulce and nodded.

"You are a sister, go train with the others, or rest. I thank you for bringing what you knew to me." He patted her arm. "You have my thanks."

"You are welcome Mentor." She nodded her head and turned leaving to wonder a bit in the new area.

About an hour passed and canon shots could be heard followed by the snapping of plants and trees. The assassins pulled up arm as they saw a flood of soldier coming in to the woods. They were quickly out numbered. Some died trying to fight back others fled to hide for the time being while others were taken prisoner. Dulce fought back with only her fists as her wire was not going to work in the dense plant life. She was overwhelmed after a hard fight having taken out two men. The fight between assassins and the others last till night fall when everything quieted down the assassins having fallen.

She was brought to the captain of the attacking men and forced to her knees along with an assassin and Adewale from the ship. They looked at each other before feeling the stick of bayonets at their necks. A single move and they would be shot. The captain walked around watching them before he left ordering to tie them up and use them as bait to get the Mentor and Edward. Dulce growl as they were tied up. One of the men was a bit grabby for her liking and she wished to put her foot through his face.

"Hey, think we can have some fun while we wait?" One man questioned eying Dulce.

"You best not, at least wait till we kill the leader and Captain." Another spoke up.

"We will we out number those to 20 to one." The first guy smiled moving closer to Dulce and kneeling. "I don't think they will mind if we put this little assassin bitch in her place. Under the good strong hold of a Templar man."

"Don't touch her." Ade spoke up narrowing his eyes.

"Shut up, you are going to become a slave just like the rest of your kind" The second snapped at him. "Just be quick, I don't wanna get in trouble from our captain."

The first man smirked and pushed Dulce back to her back as she was tied so she couldn't run or move her arms. He instantly started to grab her body and feel over her through her clothes. Dulce whined and struggled to break free as she closed her eyes not liking that this was happening to her again. She prayed this would never happen again and yet it was.

"No get off!" She cried, shocking Adewale as he didn't know she spoke English before she screamed "NO!"

"Shut up bitch." The man back handed her and moved to pull her top open when the sound of his friend falling over caught his attention. "What the hell?"

He got up and walked over to investigate and the two gunman looked to each other before they found themselves on the ground blades in there skulls. Edward strolled by calmly and pushed both his blades to the back of the mans chests and twisted sharply. Edward looked rather pissed.

"I am a pirate but even I have enough respect not to hit a woman, and stop when she says No." Edward Kicked the guy off and walked over cutting Adewale free and the assassin. He moved to Dulce who laid on the ground panicking still. He frown and reached down taking her shoulders and lifting her up before cutting her arms and legs free. She almost instantly wrapped her arms around him tightly. "It's OK."

Edward wrapped his arms around her and stood lifting her to her feet as he did. He looked to Adewale and nodded him over. Ade Placed a hand on her shoulder drawing her attention. She let Edward go as Adewale put an arm around her shoulders leading her to gather with the rest of the assassins and pirates for the time being. Edward still had a bit more work to take care of.

Adewale and Dulce waiting for Edward. Kidd returned and threw himself on to a set of wooden steps to relax. Edward followed in to view about twenty minutes later before walking to Kidd the two spoke as they moved to a small cage. They then split way and Edward walked back over and nodded to Adewale and Dulce.

"Are you OK Ade?" Edward was concerned.

"Been in better situations, but fine none the less." Ade nodded and looked down to Dulce who was tailing him like a lost kitten at the moment. "She is still shaken. I don't blame her."

"Aye, go back to the ship make sure the rest of the men are Okay. I wanna talk to her. Send Squirt over." Edward spoke as he took her arm in his hand Ade left quickly wasting no time.. "Gabriela..."

"Dulce..." Dulce corrected him.

"What?" Edward raised a brow.

"My name is no Gabriela, it's Dulce. I lied when we met." She looked to him carefully.

"Oh your name is Dulce... Wait You speak English?" Edward looked to he in surprise. "When did you learn?"

"When I was growing up." Dulce watch him her accent of Spanish and Italian mixed heavily. "I was raised by a noble family."

"Why the fuck did you not speak it before?" Edward started to fume.

"I did not wish to speak to you." Dulce frowned. "You stole my weapon, and forced me to sleep in a room of men, and made me mop your deck floors. You assumed I didn't speak English. Why should I correct your ignorance?"

"You, are a pain in my arse. I struggle to talk and understand your fucking talking, and you mock me by letting me struggle" Edward stomped away before coming back hand in her face like he was going to yell at her like a child before he stomped away again and looked back to her eyes narrowed before he relaxed. "Are you okay, from that guy earlier?"

"Better, just shaking." Dulce hugged her arms. "Sorry for grabbing on to you back there."

"It's okay. Any woman would have done the same after what happened." Edward sighed and rubbed the back of his head. "I am leaving, You can stay here with these people or come with me. Your choice. You come with me you are still washing the deck."

"That is fair. I am searching for something. Staying here I cannot look, I will continue with you." Dulce looked to him stepping to follow.

"Natural alleys then?" He thought a moment. "If you are an assassin where is your hidden blade?"

"I rather not talk about that." Dulce looked down to her bare arm knowing in her heart he had the blade till he died. Where it was now she did not know.

"So the other belonged to your father?" He pointed to it.

"Yes, and its very special to me because of that. He died when I was a little girl." Dulce frowned and walked by him. "Enough about me, Who is your girl friend?"

"Girlfriend?" Edward was confused.

"That Kidd girl?" Dulce narrowed her eyes looking back to put pressure on him.

"HE is James Kidd. SON of Pirate Captain William Kidd, but ten times a ruthless." Edward chuckled and walked up beside her walking to his ship with her.

"Right." Dulce was not convinced. "Kidd is a girl"

"You tell him that you may lose your head." Edward chuckled. "Though I think out next bet, I will wager waring a dress."

Dulce shook her head as they arrived at the ship. The two stepped on to the boat and Edward moved right to the wheel. Dulce moved to the fore castle looking out when the sails dropped and they started to move away from Tulum. She had no idea where they would be going, but Edward was planning home to rest, resupply and lay rest the men he lost.
