Dom moved to the other side of the door helping Letty out of the car. "Why are we here?" Letty asked looking around.

"You haven't been here yet."

"I don't want to be here period Dom."

"Why? Because it's where dead people are?"

She glared up at him leaning against the car. "Come with me Letty, I want to show you something." He held out his hand for her. She sighed as she reluctantly took it. "You were in the cemetery. Right over here was your headstone. They took it down. But that's not what I am here to show you. This one…" He pointed at the stone ahead of them.

"Jesse?" Letty sighed.

Dom nodded his head. "Tran went after him. We were at our house and Jesse pulled up. I remember him being scared…I don't even know if scared if the word to use because he was white a ghost when he came to me. He was begging for my help. He was just a kid. He didn't know what he was doing. He just lost his father's car. Brian had pulled up, everything was just so….fucked up. I wanted to kill him. I wanted to murder him in cold blood on our lawn for lying to us. He was cop. He lied to all of us. I had a decision to make. To help Jesse or go after Brian. My decision was made for me shortly after. I heard them before I saw them. Motorcycles. They were coming fast. Jesse was still talking…begging me to help him. He didn't know what to do. Gunshots went off before I could even think. I heard Mia screaming. I had to get to Jesse though. I was all the kid had. The bullets pierced him. God there was so many of them. I don't know how I didn't get hit but he did. He got hit. He was gone before I even made it to him."

"And where was I?" Letty asked wiping her face of the tears.

"You were gone."

"Why? Why wasn't I there for him?"

"The heat was coming down on us Let. We were all going to go to jail for hijacking those trucks. I told you and Leon to go. To get out of there before we all went down. We killed Tran and I flipped the Charger like an idiot. I was caught. But Brian let me go.

"And then we ended up in Dominican Republic?"

"Yes."

"You left me."

There was silence. "You were dead. You died. I was pissed off. We went to Brazil."

"Vince."

"Yeah, he would be in here too but we thought it was right to bury him in Brazil with his family."

Letty bowed her head. "Then Han."

"That was a low blow. We didn't see it coming at all. Shaw played us very well with that one. Then Brian…" Dom shook his head. "You were there for that. We all were there for that."

"We lost a lot of people didn't we?"

He nodded his head running his hand over the tombstone. "We have survived more than we should have that's for sure. We lost too many people. Too many to count and too many for my heart to handle. I am so sorry about everything. I don't know if you are going to remember anymore. You might. This might be it. I left you in D.R. because I didn't want exactly what happened to happen. I don't know if you will ever remember that but I left to protect you. I left because you mean more to me than anything else in this world. I left you and I am so sorry."

"Dom…"

"I want you to know that ever since I laid eyes on you when you were sixteen years old, I have loved you. You don't know what I felt when I saw that you were still alive. I was getting a second chance. I swore to myself that I was going to do it right this time. All these memories…this pain. I am sorry."

She stopped him by jumping in his arms wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him passionately on the lips. He squeezed his eyes shut as he kissed her back.

"I love my life with you Dom. What I remember and what I don't remember, I love it all. Don't think for one second that I can live without you because I can't. You are my life. You and the crew…I can't be anywhere else but here. The pain it comes with it, I know. If I don't remember then that's fine Dom. But don't think for once that I am going anywhere because of all of this."

Dom nodded his head slowly letting her back down to the ground. He kissed the top of her head before letting her go. "Let's go home." He gave a soft smile. Letty nodded her head before kissing two fingers and laying them on Jesse's tombstone.

Six months later…

Letty stood in the garage staring at her family. It had been six months since her last memory. She hadn't had a single one since Jesse. She smiled to herself as she looked around the room. They had grown. All of them had. She could look at all of their faces and see the lines of despair, anguish, pain, but she could also see the love, the loyalty, the fight that everyone gave even though they lost so many. She wiped her hands on her towel before walking over to Jack and Mia.

"Hey little guy." Letty smiled.

"I'm not little!" The boy squealed as she wrapped her arms around his body. He was two. Young enough to not know any better but old to know something wasn't right. His father had been dead a year. The night Shaw took Brian from everyone was the worst. Letty could remember it like it was yesterday. There were days she would dream about it. "You put me down!" Jack yelled kicking his legs. Letty couldn't help but laugh as she set him on the ground. She watched as he took off running in the direction of Dom. Dom scooped him up in his arms swinging him around. Letty smiled over at Mia who was staring at her. She was probably the strongest person Letty has ever known. Mia smiled back before going about the duties of cleaning up after Jack. The love that this family has for one another was unbreakable. It was indescribable.

"Yo!" Tej came walking into the garage with Roman right behind him. "You guys ready to do this or not?"

"Yeah, we hungry!" Roman smirked.

"You guys meet us back at the house. Let me close up and we will be on our way." Dom stated. Sunday. That's what day it was. Letty put her hand to her stomach as she walked over to Mia helping her pick up the toys.

"That kid is always hungry." Mia laughed. "You feeling okay?"

Letty nodded her head. "How's that head of yours?"

"I haven't had a memory since Jesse. It's weird, but I think they are done."

Mia nodded her head. "Maybe it's for the best. I wish there was some things I could forget."

"I know you do."

"You guys ready to go?" Dom had Jack in his arms as he walked over to the two girls.

Letty smiled before putting her arm around Dom. She leaned up kissing him softly on the lips.

"Ewww…" Jack squealed.

"Ewww!" Letty mocked him tickling him as he squirmed in Dom's arms. Laughter filled the garage as Dom held tightly to him.

"Let's go home." Dom yelled over the commotion.

They arrived back at the house where Tej and Roman were already there. They had started up the grill and were bringing out the BBQ when everyone arrived. Letty looked up at the house as she slowly walked towards everyone.

"Aunt Letty, come on its time to eat!" Jack yelled before running ahead of everyone.

"Yeah Aunt Letty, geez!" Dom smiled.

"It's about time you guys showed up." Roman had the ribs in his hands. "People die of starvation around here waiting on you."

"Let's go then!" Dom yelled. They all gathered around the table as Dom pulled out the chair for Letty. "Let's eat."

"Who's saying grace? It sure as hell aint going to be me." Roman stated. Mia hit him on the arm pointing at Jack whose eyes were wide. "My bad."

"I'll say it." Dom replied. "Dear God, I want to thank you for this time together. For the path you have brought us down. Those many lives were taken from us, many were given to us too. I want to thank you for the beautiful life you have given Mia and for the life that Letty is about to give. I feel the angels of the ones we have lost all around me. Thank you for this food and most of all thank you for fast cars."

"Yes sir thank you for those fast cars." Roman yelled grabbing the food from the table."

"Jesse, since you were the first to reach in and grab some chicken, why don't you say grace?" Dom stated as Jesse was caught putting his hands in the food. Jesse looked around the table as Letty began to laugh. "Um…okay." He shook his hands of the food. "Dear Heavenly... uh..."

"Spirit." Leon chimed in. Letty tried to muffle her laugh.

Spirit. Thank you. Thank you for providing us with the direct-port nitrous... uh... injection, four-core intercoolers, an' ball-bearing turbos, and... um... titanium valve springs. Thank you."

"Amen!" Leon yelled.

"Very nice." Dom replied shaking his head.

"He was praying to the car gods man." Letty was stunned.

Letty looked up around the table with a smile on her face.

"Roman!" Brian yelled. "He grabbed the food first, he has to say grace."

Roman glared over at Brian as Letty watched on. "Does any of this feel familiar?" Dom asked her.

"No but it feels like home." She smiled him.

"I can deal with that." He kissed her hand before bringing her over to the table. "Okay Roman, bless this table."

"Father thank you for the gathering of friends, Father we give thanks for all the choices we've made because that's what makes us who we are, let us forever cherish the loved ones we've lost along the way; thank you for the little angel, the newest addition to our family, thank you for bringing Letty home, and most of all thank you for fast cars!"

Letty's eyes shot open as she looked around the table. Everyone was staring at her. "Let are you okay?" Dom was holding her hand. "Is it the baby?"

She shook her head at him. "Praying to the car gods man." She laughed. The whole table began to laugh as Mia smiled over her shaking her head. Everything was going to be alright. She could feel it. This was the end of it all. They were a family and that's all that mattered. Nothing else. Not the garage, not the diner, not the races. They were there at that moment together and nothing could break that apart.
