Two best friends were walking in Central Park. Their names were Annabeth and Percy and they are both sixteen. It was 8'oclock in the evening. They were both mad at their siblings. Annabeth's twin brothers, Bobby and Matheew, had messed with her building sketches. Percy's little brother Tyson kept annoying him and a messed with his stuff. They always go to each other for comfort. It's nice to always know there's always a friend there for you, if he only knew I wanted to be more than friends.

"Seaweed Brain could I ask you a few questions?" asked Annabeth.

"Well it depends on what kind of questions they are, Wise Girl." said Percy.

"They're not hard."

He looked at her. ".. alright. Shoot."

"Ok. Um… do I ever cross your mind?"

"No."

"Oh." I felt so sad when he said that. "Would you be sad if I go missing?"

"No."

Right then and there I was on the verge of tears, but I held them back. He was still looking at her while she was look down on the ground.

"Do.. you think... you... could ever... like me?"

He stared into her eyes and said the one word that will destroy her world all together. "No." With that she punched him in the arm, it caused him to fall on the ground and ran away in tears. She didn't want to see him ever again. Some best friend he was. She a felt an arm go around her waist, she tried to get out but he was too strong.

"Where are you going?" he asked.

"Away from you! That's where!" I screamed.

"Why? Was it because of the questions you asked?"

"Yes! I can't believe you said that. You could've said it some other way than just no!"

"You didn't let me finish."

"What?" She looked at him skeptically.

"Yeah you never told me that I had to answer the questions truthfully."

"Oh. Then what do you mean by you didn't let me finish."

Percy put is arms around my waist and pulled me close that our noses were touching. I put my hands on his muscled chest and looked into his beautiful green blue eyes.

"Annabeth your never on my mind because you always on mind. Whenever I try to stop thinking about you I couldn't do it. I mean you're my best friend. I wouldn't be sad when you went missing because I would be devastated. I don't what I would do without you. I don't like you because you're my best friend." My tears started to come again. "But I'm in love with you because you're my best friend."

I was shocked when he said that. I started to cry again but this time they were happy tears. I let out a small smile and looked into his eyes.

"I love you too,Percy."

He smiled showing all his white teeth. He kissed me under the stars and I felt like the luckiest girl in the whole world.
