"Oh my god, is she holding hands with a girl?"

"Eh, she does have nice hair though…"

"That's not the point! Do you think they're…you know…together?"

"I don't know. Go ask!"

"No you go ask!"

Despite their insults and unnecessary comments, I bit back my laughter as the two schoolgirls began to walk past us, talking behind their hands while giving us wary glances. Only after they passed did they realize their mistake, their faces flushed with surprise before walking away rather quickly.

"It's not funny, aru!"

I took one look at his embarrassed face and burst out laughing. I had to take my hand away from his to help stifle my laughter. "Yes it is!"

I finally quieted myself when I realized how upset he was but I couldn't keep the grin off my face.

"Do I really look like a girl, aru?"

He pouted adorably and I patted his hand comfortingly.

"Only the back of your head does, Yao."

China groaned, dropping his head over the back of the bench.

"Maybe I should just cut it, aru."

I reached over, fingering the ends of his dark ponytail.

"I like it."

"But I look like a girl, aru!"

I shook my head and smiled.

"Well you still look like Wang Yao to me and I rather like you this way."

"Really, aru?"

"Haaaai~"
