Aye there, how's it goin'? So, this is my very first Criminal Minds fanfic. But Criminal Minds is like, my favorite show. Read on, peeps. :D

Disclaimer: I don't own Criminal Minds, which I don't mind. But I would be estatic if I could own Dr. Spencer Reid. It would really make my day... year... life. :)

Derek Morgan walked toward his Baby Girl's office, holding her morning coffee in his hand. He smiled as he open the door and said, "Morning, Baby Girl." He stood behind her, placing her coffee down in front of her. He bent down and placed a kiss on her cheek.

I wasn't until his lips came in contact with her skin, that he noticed her cheek was wet. With tears. Anyone and everyone knows that if you mess with his baby girl, you're gonna have Derek Morgan looming over your back for the rest of your life. And he'll make it hell.

Derek turned Penelope around in her computer chair. Hands on her arms, Derek knelt down in front of her. "Penelope, baby, what happened?" His eyebrows furrowed together out of confusion.

Penelope breathed in sharply. "I-I-I.... I don't want to talk about it, Derek." She said quietly.

"Baby girl, c'mon. It's okay. What happened?" He kept his voice soft. He reached up to wipe away a few of her tears.

Penelope looked Derek in the eyes. Here was someone who loved her regaurdless, someone who cared, someone who would do anything for her. She took a deep breath and said, "It's Kevin."

Penelope felt Derek tense up. She saw his jaw tighten, his eyes expressed his dislike vividly. "What. Did. He. Do?"

Penelope gluped. "He broke up with me a few days ago." She said in a small voice.

Penelope looked back down at her knees and let her tears fall. Derek sighed. "Why?" He asked, an edge to his voice.

Penelope looked back up at Derek. "He met someone else. And I was okay with it. Until I saw him this morning at the coffee shop. I was walking by, and I just turned my head to look in the window. And there he was, with his arm around some girl whose everything I'm not."

"Hey," Derek said, catching her attention. "No, don't think like that. You better than her, I'm sure of it. Besides, Kevin's a shmuck." He got a grin out of her.

"But if you had seen this girl, you would've agreed."

"No, I wouldn't. Baby, you don't see what I see. You're beautiful."

Penelope shook her head at Derek. "You're just saying that because I'm your 'baby girl'. This girl he had his arm around was... she wasn't like me." Penelope said, motioning to her body.

"If Kevin can't love you for who you are-"

"Then he's not worth my time. I've heard that one pleantly of times about every guy I've ever dated."

"That's not what I was going to say." Derek smirked, putting his lip to Penelope's lips, silencing her. "If Kevin can't love you for who you are, give someone else a chance to."

Penelope smiled. Derek pulled her up out of her chair and into a big hug. "Like who?" She whispered into his ear.

"Like me." He whispered back, kissing the side of her head.

They broke the hug and Penelope asked, "And why would I give you a chance?"

Derek smiled and said, "Because I'm you're big block of chocolate thunder. And you have a sweet tooth."

Penelope smiled. "Yes, yes I do."

And they kissed. It was simple. It was sweet. It was passionate. And it was the start to their new realtionship. One filled with many more kisses to come.

Whatcha think? :)
