Without further ado, let the chapter begin!

Just a few days after Rosie told her parents and Aaron about her theory, she was able to join a meeting at the base. It was something that would rarely happen to Rosie but she knew better than to question it.

Rosie was busy writing down notes in her notebook. She was listening to what Calan said and focused.

Base on the notes that she wrote down, there has been a strong detection of nanites coming from Michael's hospitals. The only problem is that its coming from the lower levels of the buildings, so they can't spy from a distance.

The buildings always have a basement level that is a restricted area. Only a handful of people were allowed inside.

"The only way that anyone from Providence could gain access to the basement is if we had a warrant. The only problem with that approach could result in Van Kleiss escaping. How are we suppose to gain the element of surprise? We send agents to block any exits at the hospitals that Michael owns. The only downside is that Van Kleiss could try to attack and lots of people would be caught in the cross fire. Just how are we going to do this without-" Rosie quietly muttered to herself until she felt a fist lightly tapped her head.

She jumped and looked around frantically.

Everyone was looking at her, which made Rosie slowly sink in her seat.

"Sorry, was I muttering out loud again?" Rosie whispered in embarrassment.

Rex grinned, "Yeap, at least I wasn't the one to cause a distraction this time."

"Hey! I'm not causing a distraction! I'm just trying to find ways we can figure out what's going on without possibly alerting Van Kleiss about what's going on." Rosie pout and set her notebook down.

Rex lean back in his chair and admitted, "He's there for sure. All we need to do is break into the right hospital and then take him down."

Rebecca started to frown, "Its not that easy Rex. We can't just go in there to fight. There are innocent lives at risk if we do this wrong."

Rosie raised her hand and asked, "Can I ask mention something?"

"If its a pop culture reference then I don't want to hear it." White Knight muttered.

She gave him a look and crossed her arms, "I wasn't going to. Geez cut me some slack."

Without missing a beat, Rosie began pressed a few buttons on the table to make a holograph appeared in the center of the table. The map of the city appeared and Rosie started to pressed more buttons to mark up the map.

There was five red dots on the map, the dots were connected and reveal to be a circle. In the center of the circle was the White House.

"Even if there's a possibility that Van Kleiss would be in any of these hospital, we need consider this. The president is in harms way as well, plus the citizens, and the people in the hospital. How are we going to make sure no one gets hurts during the mission to capture Van Kleiss?" Rosie asked.

A few agents began discussing of a few plans that they could think of. While they were talking, Rebecca kept a close eye on her daughter.

Rosie was resting her face on her hand. She appeared to be zoning out as her eyes were trying to stay open. It was obvious that Rosie was tired, she hasn't been getting enough sleep lately.

Her nightmares were getting worse as each day that passed by. Some nights were decent for her but other nights were unbearable.

Rosie covered her mouth with her hand to hide her yawn.

"Its getting late Rosie, we're heading home right now." Rebecca told Rosie.

"What about the meeting?" Rosie looked concerned.

Six said, "I'll stay here until the meeting is over. Plus you have school tomorrow."

Trying not to look annoy, Rosie scoff, "Ah school. Seven Cruel Hours Of Our Lives."

"Math. Mental Abuse to Humans." Rex chirped in.

"Homework. Half of My Energy Wasted On Random Knowledge."

"Class, Come Late And Start Sleeping." Rex grinned while Rosie started to laugh.

During lunch at school, Rosie would start visiting Ms. Shields in her office. Last year Rosie had her as her English teacher. Now Ms. Shields was working for the English department at her school.

Ms. Shields would help any students that are struggling in English class and would tutor them. She was one of Rosie's favorite teachers. In fact, Rosie has known Ms. Shields since she was in middle school. She was transferred to Rosie's high school when it was her freshmen year.

They've been close as the years went by.

"Thanks for letting me come here every day Ms. Shields." Rosie smiled.

Ms. Shields was eating her salad and said, "Anytime kiddo. You know you're always welcome here anytime."

Rosie continued to smile and finished her lunch. She strapped her lunchbox back on her backpack and sigh. Noticing that something's was bothering her student. Ms. Shields set her fork down and asked, "Everything okay sweetie?"

"Yeah...I'm just stressed out about things coming up...plus it doesn't help that I don't have any friends." Rosie sadly said.

Ms. Shields felt sympathy for Rosie, she's such a kind person and would help anyone that needs her help. Last year hasn't been the best for Rosie but it never changed who she is. There was one thing that could help lighten Rosie's mood.

Ms. Shields got up from her desk and went to one of her cabinets, "I think I have something for you kiddo."

"What is it?" Rosie whispered.

After looking through her cabinets, Ms. Shields pulled out a large envelope that was drawn on.

"Here it is. Do you remember the final project I had your class do for freshmen year?" Ms. Shields smiled as she handed the envelope to Rosie.

Rosie stared at the envelope on her hands. In the front cover, there was various of drawings that Rosie made. There was a few drawings of Rosie's favorite cartoon characters from her childhood. She felt the envelope was a bit heavy and she began to smiled.

"I remember this. The class had so much fun with this project...I may have went overboard with the assignment." Rosie admitted while she opened the envelope.

Ms. Shields smiled, "There's no such thing as going overboard. You deserve that extra credit back then."

Rosie pulled out a few letters that she wrote to herself. It had to be more than three pages. She began to cringe when she noticed how much her handwriting had changed over the years.

"I had a sloppy handwriting back then. Thank goodness I switched to cursive." Rosie said and tried to see what else is in her envelope when the bell ringed.

Rosie started to pout but slid the letters back inside the envelope. "I need to go to class. Thanks for giving me back my letter Ms. Shields."

"Don't mention it kiddo. I'll see you tomorrow." Ms. Shields smiled while Rosie waved goodbye.

After Rosie made it home, she gave her cellphone to her parents. She was still grounded after they found out about her hacking to Providence's system.

So Rosie wasn't allowed to have her phone unless she went to school or had something to do for homework. She was also not allowed to play video games. Which was fine by Rosie, she could start reading her books or go use her trampoline.

Rosie set her phone on the table and made her way to the living room.

She pulled out her envelope and started looking through it.

The letters would be the last thing she would read. There was a few pictures that was saved in the envelope. Rosie stared at them.

One picture was taken during a prep rally, Rosie's face was painted with the school's colors. Right beside her was Ryan who also wore face paint with her. They looked like they were having a great time at the prep rally. Behind the picture was labeled: First Prep Rally with Ryan.

Rosie set the picture beside her and looked at the next one. She started to laugh quietly.

In the picture, Rosie was dressed as Spider Gwen while she dangled upside from the stair railing. Ryan was obviously dressed as Spider Man but he was sitting on the railing. Rosie looked like she was laughing while Ryan looked nervous. At the bottom of the picture was labeled: Dynamic Duo Day

"Is my high school experience just with Ryan for the past three years?" Rosie whispered sadly.

Rosie set the pictures down and rubbed her temples. She raised an eyebrow when someone was knocking on the front door. As she got up, Rosie went to the front door and opened it.

Farron looked surprised to see Rosie answer the door. Rosie was equally as shock when she saw it was Farron. Right beside Farron was his mother who wasn't holding some files.

"Farron? What are you doing here? Wait, how did you know where I live?" Rosie asked.

Farron frowned, "Wait...mom, you know Rosie's parents?"

Amanda smiled, "Of course. Sorry for any confusion, I'm here for a brief meeting with your mother. She said I can bring my son along. Can we come in?"

Rosie let them inside, she looked at Farron and said, "I didn't know your mom works at Providence."

Farron shrugged, "It's not something I say to just anyone. But it still bothers me that I didn't realize you're Agent Six and Doctor Holiday's daughter. I guess I can see it now."

"Why don't you kids talk while we're working? I'm sure you two will get along." Amanda suggested causing the teens to look at each other.

"I gotta admit, its kind of nice to have someone that understands me. Sort of." Rosie admitted while she was jumping on her trampoline. Farron was jumping with her, they decided to talk outside at the backyard.

Farron did a back flip and landed on the trampoline. He casually sat down as he remarked, "Not many people at school would understand what our parents do for a living. Well, most of our classmates would ask questions about the nanite event from years ago. But my mom tells me to not say a word because its classified."

Rosie stopped jumping and sat down in front of Farron.

"That's basically my life in school in a nutshell. As soon as my classmates find out my parents, they tried to be my friend for other reasons. They wanted information or gossips, or they wanted to use my status to help them with something. I guess that's why I don't have any friends." Rosie sigh.

Farron went to lay down and looked at the clouds.

"Oh come on, you must have ONE friend." Farron said.

Rosie picked at her fingernails and whispered, "I had two friends but stuff happens. One moved away to another state, while the other decides to pick his girlfriend over me."

"Ouch. That's kind of rough." Farron said.

They remained silence for a while, until Farron sat back up.

"If you want, we can be friends." Farron suggested and smiled at Rosie.

She looked at Farron, should she go for it? She really wants to accept the offer but an uneasy feeling is creeping up in her stomach. Farron notices how reluctant Rosie was to answer. It was almost like she was in a war with herself.

Farron said, "You don't have to answer right away, we can just start out as acquaintances for now. Maybe we can work our way up to being friends, that is if you want to."

Rosie watched Farron hold his hand out for a handshake, he looked patient and smiled.

She started to smile and grabbed Farron's hand. They shook hands and started talking about anything. Farron smiled when Rosie started laughing about the story he told her about.

Back inside the house, Amanda and Rebecca were watching the kids through the window. They were finished with the brief meeting fairly quickly. Rebecca was hopeful that Rosie might have a new friend but she needs to expect the unexpected.

"Looks like the kids are getting along." Amanda smiled and gasped when Farron accidentally fell off the trampoline.

Rebecca smiled at Rosie as she hurried to check on Farron. Farron sat up and chuckled nervously while he rubbed his head.

"I hope Farron can help distract Rosie from the Van Kleiss incident, Six and I noticed she's not getting much sleep after she started thinking about his whereabouts. We're hoping that if she has a friend then she'll focus on school or having fun." Rebecca said.

Amanda stared out the window and mentioned, "The council doesn't like the fact that he's giving her idea a chance. They probably think its foolish but Rosie does have excellent points. Although this might stress her out, I hope Farron can help distract her from that."

"Oh. Just promise me that Agent Six won't do anything to my son for being friends with your daughter." Amanda admitted.

Rebecca raised an eyebrow as Amanda continued, "Rebecca, everyone in the base knows how protective he is with his daughter. My son is the same age as Rosie and he's a boy. You really think he won't try anything?"

Sleeping peacefully in one of the assigned Providence room was Ava. She hugged Bun Bun tightly in her arms while she look like she was having a good dream.

Suddenly, Ava stirred in her sleep and she opened her eyes. Instead of Ava's eyes being normal, they were glowing dark red.

She climbed out of bed and quietly left her room.

It was almost midnight, most of the agents were resting in their rooms, only a few of them were out working. Ava walked down the hallway, she looked dazed and emotionless. She felt like she was a puppet and had no control of what she was doing.

Before she made it through the doors, she bumped into an agent.

"Ava? What are you doing here? Get back to your room." The agent frowned.

Ava snapped out of her trance and started to look around, "Huh? Where am I?"

"Go back to bed, its late. Maybe you were sleep walking." The agent suggest while he nudge Ava back.

She started to pout but made her way back to her room. After the door closed, Ava started to feel a bit uneasy. "...Maybe I was sleepwalking." Ava whispered to herself and immediately crawled into bed.

Ava pulled the blanket over her and grabbed Bun Bun. She tried to go back to sleep by grabbing one of the books that Rosie gave her before she left. One of her favorites was Dr. Seuss.

When its the morning, Ava will tell Kenwyn what happened. Maybe she'll figure what's going on with her.
