Je t'aime,
Your soft hazel eyes
So kind, so innocent

You were dragged into a battle
That wasn't yours,
Unable to say no
Trapped in your own body
Until it was no longer yours

I will forever remember
Your first words to me,
"You... have silver eyes."
So familiar to another soul

Toujours,
Dreaming of a better world
Without all this pain and suffering
One where you never left me
Beneath a broken moon.

My soul is lost
Without yours
A tale too familiar perhaps,
But I'll write the ending this time.

Your dream is my dream
And I'll make it a reality

A peaceful world
One the Gods won't destroy,
Where everyone can live
Without the fear of betrayal,
The Grimm.

Mon cher,
I pray you will find your way
To Heaven
On trails of stardust
And back to me.
