Chapter 16: A Backlash?
Satyana is young woman in her early twenties, brown skin, black raven hair, and bright blue eyes; hailing from the great Empire of Kushan - formerly great Empire of Kushan. Ever since the fall, the Saderans had been brutal in their occupation, imposing high taxes for merely fighting a war with them, if a citizen can't pay it's off to slavery, and sometimes even if they did pay monthly taxes Saderans would come in each homes at random, taking anything of value or taking young men or women to be sold off.
The reason why she's here is because the Saderans are now severely short on slaves thanks to the Black Prince and his army's action against Telta. Her father did everything he could to prevent her enslavement, he offered a large sum of gold to bribe the legionaries off but the reply he get is a spear to the chest, she was forcibly taken leaving her mother and young brother to weep her dying father. And now here she is, naked and in chains along with her fellow Kushani, heading straight to the Saderan capital.
For days she's been trying to escape, try to run, trying to slip from her iron cuffs, but she always fails, and every time they caught her these pigs would give cruel punishment, beaten but they leave no lasting marks, raped her but only in her ass and mouth as they don't want to taint her virgin maidenhead as it would fetch a much higher price they said. After another harsh abuse she finally given up, nothing she can do except pray to her Gods that someone help, or the very least release her from her suffering. Little did she know, her pleas for help will soon be answered.
There was a sudden crashing noise, Satyana couldn't see what's happening outside because of the large cloth that covers the entire wagon, shouting and the familiar sound of a Britannian weapon going off. Then covers were pulled revealing a man in out-worldly clothes, he look like an officer. The cover is fully removed and the slaves look at the grey men and Iron Giants, their captors rounded up on the side of the road.
The officer seems disgusted and angry and went to confront the man in charge of the caravan, stern and harsh tone of voice. "Explains this to me, where are you taking these people?"
"To the Capital, good fellows, it's not our original destination but we have to change since Telta is-"
"So they're slaves!" The officer said with venomous tone.
The slave trader went paler than before, it is now widely known that the Britannians have impose a law that completely abolish slavery, anyone who practices in any way will result in lifetime imprisonment or death. Stammering, the man tried to make feeble excuses. "P-please, they're prisoners who had committed crimes against our nation."
"And what crimes would that be? Not being a Saderan like you? Not paying ridiculously high taxes that you've imposed? Not accommodating enough for the invaders? We know how your lot operates, but nothing will stop us in enforcing the law of Abraham li Britannia." Without giving the man a chance to speak the officer shoots him in the head. The soldiers follow through executing the caravan guards and workers, they would finish off the dozen men who are left until the officer commanded them. "Hold your fire, we need a reminder for these animals to never commit slavery again, impale them on stakes."
Satyana and the others watch in shock and horror as the Iron Giants began impaling the Saderans with wooden stakes, skewered like meat on a stick, and then raised as if they're flags, Satyana's reaction turn from shock to delight, reveling at the sight of her tormentors suffering a painful death. After that bloody show the Britannians open the cages, some of the women backed by a little fearing that they might get raped despite knowing that this is a rescue though Satyana would be more than happy to spread her legs and allow them to have their way with her as a form of thank you, to their relief and her slight disappointment these men just gave them clothes to wear.
"Each of you will be given thirty silvers, and a choice to either join us become part of Britannia or go on your own way." The officer explained.
With that many of the captives chose to go back to Kushan, to their family and love ones, but there are ten who decided to go with the Britannians, men and women who have nothing left, homes and family gone because of the war, they wanted a new life and Britannia is a good start.
Satyana's first thought is definitely home, but she was enthralled of the man who lead this small but powerful force, ultimately family comes first, but before she go she went to the officer. "Thank you, kind sir, for freeing me and the others."
"You're welcome, though the credits should go to the Prince and the Emperor who imposed the law."
"Of course, your country is blessed to have such honorable and virtuous leaders." She blushed as she asks him one more time. "May I know your name, kind sir?"
"Kewell Soresi, at your service, fair lady."
Alnus Hill
At first it is a simple fortified military base, as time it's growing to be a large city, former slaves now honorary Britannians have joined the workforce in masses, many men became construction workers building homes for refugees of war and former slaves who chose to become Britannians.
Many people of Falmart first thought that it will have a hard time managing the poor masses pouring in, some even wagered that it'll fail. All of those doubts are proven false, Britannia have the resources and wealth to achieve this, they can take in as much people as they want and it'll not affect their economy at all, already the population have reach nine thousand.
The citizens love it, they have shelter, clean water, and plenty of food, they were even given jobs around the city encourage by the government.
Today a large number of Britannian forces leaves the city, all are following the order of the Black Prince.
"This world is a backward and savage place, almost lacking empathy, many inhabitants who treated other beings as nothing more than possession, including their own. It's time to correct their ways. I, Lelouch vi Britannia, command you: go fort and free the slaves, and persecute their masters, and leave a sign that will warn others of the consequences for depriving an innocent man of his freedom."
Because of how ruthless the soldiers are in obeying his orders both worlds will soon know him as 'Lelouch the Impaler'.
Japan
"This is not acceptable!" The Japanese officials just groans or roll their eyes, ever since the Britannians destroyed the city of Telta and slaughter half its inhabitants Mizuki Kohara and many on the Human Rights committee have been ranting about the injustice done to the innocent Saderans. "The Prince's actions have violated many Human Rights Laws through ordering extrajudicial killings, illegal eviction, mass destruction of property, illegal deportation, and genocide!"
"What would you have me do? Berate the Britannians? Officially condemning the actions of the Prince for merely enforcing the Abraham's Law is a political suicide." Genbu said, somewhat irritated at this woman.
"Genocide is such a strong word, minister, though there might be a case there is nothing much we can do." Taro Kano stated.
"He's right, the only people they'd kill are men who have a hand in slavery, as we all know is widely illegal in our world. You can disagree with the methods and I admit that the impaling is a bit too far, but we have no right for putting any of the Imperial family in some mock trial." Said the general of the Japanese Army Tatewaki Katase.
"You're not actually believing all of their statements? There are report that the Britannians have killed many innocents!"
"The Prince did not order the mass slaughter of everyone in Telta, the report actually shows that the innocents who were killed are results of accidents or crossfire, and that percentage are small, only a few dozens." Katase explains, the deaths weren't that terrible.
"You've been antagonizing our government, our police force, our military, and now you have taken a step too far in demonizing our closest ally."
And so on Kohara keeps on complaining, telling how inhumane the actions of the Black Knights, but the other didn't take her seriously, after all, she's been largely ignorant of the Saderan's abhorrent ways, caring more for the plight of the aggressors than the victims.
Europia United
The debate in Central Hemicycle is a heated one, and which each passing moment deepens the divide. There's been many who motions to take actions against the Britannians for violation of Human Rights laws, though some aren't so keen and are hesitant and there others who oppose any conflict.
"This is a golden opportunity for us, we can use the prince's crimes as pretense to send troop to the other side and secure territories for ourselves."
"Are you crazy? The Britannians will never allow foreign soldiers to step foot on their soil, you're just asking for another war."
"They are in the wrong, the prince is virtually becoming the second Vlad the Impaler, a savage monarch who torments and terrorize his own people."
"Don't you dare insult our National Hero!" Bellowed the representative from Romania. "Vlad is strong leader who lead his nation against a powerful invader, you just foolishly believe a Turkish propaganda! And besides, the people who were impaled are men who deals with slavery."
"The prince's action does broke some of our laws, but you're forgetting that Britannia doesn't follow our laws."
"And not just that, there are many states in the EU who are considering secession, especially Gene Smilas who is looking for an excuse to destroy everything we've stand for! If conflict with Britannia is renewed civil war will surely begin!"
And the debate continues, three sides can't seem to get along, they may unite against a common foe, but Britannia is no longer sending any invasion force, what many Europeans didn't know is the Britannians are happy sitting at the sidelines enjoying the union tearing itself apart.
Britannia
Many citizens are watching the news, wanting to learn more of their enslaved countrymen, they are tuning in to a channel were an official will give an interviews. "We are live with Jane Valderama, in today's story our military had successfully rescued our fellow Britannians from captivity, all have returned home to their family and love ones, unfortunately not all survive their terrible ordeal, returning in urns or coffins. Shedding light to this story is Diethard Ried. Mister Ried, what can you say about the liberation?"
"Well, after learning the whereabouts we wasted no time to get to Telta, when we got there military personnel quickly seize the area, governor's villa, markets, mines, everything, after we liberated our people Prince Lelouch saw fit to free the other slaves as well." Then Diethard face went grim and forlorn. "I have to admit, it's very hard to read all the reports."
"Surely it's not that bad."
"You're right, it's actually worse, what our people had just been through is hell on earth, the clip you all saw before were just the tip of the iceberg, throughout the captivity their captors were sadistic and brutal, they were forced to walk all the way from Los Angeles to their capital and then Telta, those who fell due to exhaustion were beaten to bloody pulp, sometimes they tied the feet together and then drag them on the road until they end up dead or shredded, these animal would take turns violating a few women through the entire night until they break, and any defiance would result in being nailed to a cross and left to die and rot on the side of the road, and that's just the journey to their destination mind you, I haven't started on the stories in the mines or the brothels, not to mention the 'Breeding Pens'."
"Breeding pens?"
"Yes, Telta Thrives by selling slaves, in case of peace were few captives are brought in they set up those 'establishments', there they had women of every race raped and impregnated, the children they give birth will be the future generation of slaves, we recovered three of our women who are already a month pregnant, there are even cases were they forced few of the women to mate with horses, dogs and pigs
"Dear God." Jane said with horror, she have a clue that they would be treated badly but this is a whole new level.
"Throughout my entire career in journalism, years in reporting many crimes, I've never seen such atrocities committed before, the Saderans made all the cartels, mafia, and criminal syndicate of our world look like saints by comparison." Diethard shook his head in disgust a moment of pause to let his words sink in, and he's actually being genuine whether Jane thinks he's acting or not.
Jane breaks the silence. "I've also received word that you're selling some journals?"
"Ah yes, we obtain some diaries, one from the South Palace and another from the slave quarters in Telta, with their permission of course we can publish them as 'Diary of Shirley Fenette' and 'Journal of Arnold P. Stewart', one tells a story of a girl's time as a - play thing - to that degenerate of a Saderan prince and the other recounts the journey and time in Telta. It's heartbreaking and I have to warn the reader that it contains plenty of disturbing contents."
While Diethard continues telling all he knows the general population have begun going to their local book store, newsstand and library, getting a copy of the aforementioned books, while listening to the interview they read through the pages, learning more of the former captives' ordeal, some didn't finish reading, some lasted till ten pages, some cried, and a few vomited. Once the interview with Diethard is over and people finished reading the books, there was a huge uproar throughout Britannia, calling for blood or demanding severe repercussion against the Saderans for such a horrid crimes.

Maximum Detention Center
The warden Edgar Morrison went up on top of the building, there he oversaw the burning of a prison camp that house a hundred Saderan prisoners of war, gunshots and screams of terror can be heard, just an hour ago he received an order from Prince Schneizel to kill a hundred Saderans, after explaining the reason Edgar follow through without questions.
Down in the camp prison guards, police officers and military personnel were enjoying the pain and death they give to these bastards, using flamethrower and incendiary grenades to set the makeshift houses on fire, killing any prisoners who are outside.
A soldier bash a prisoner's face after throwing an incendiary, a Saderan on fire screaming in agony then falls down near another kneeling Saderan who's head got blown off by a shotgun, two police officers are dragging a Saderan were his one leg is badly mangled and the other is missing, a Knightmare lifting up a noose with a Saderan kicking and choking, four riot police ganged up on a prisoner hitting him with a riot shield then kicking and punching him.

Fort Alcatraz
Ten Saderans are lead into a room were prison guards are waiting for them with five buckets, five are then dragged where they now facing the bucket which contain sinister looking liquid, without warning their heads were forcibly dip into a very potent acid, they struggle and scream but the sound that are heard are bubbling and sizzling, after they stop moving the prison guards raise the head that reveals a horribly disfigured face, the skin was melted off only flesh, bone and teeth were visible, the eyeballs are gone, when the other five saw this they began to panic and struggle violently, pleading for mercy as they are next.
Alaska
Strict Correctional Facility
The prison guards were digging graves in the snow, there they throw the tied up Saderans and began shoveling snow and ice into their cold grave, slowly but surely these chums will freeze to death.
In all prisons that kept Saderans the Britannians have conducted a brutal execution, they hang the prisoners, throw them off a tall building, lynch by an angry mob, crush by road rollers, chained to large rock and thrown into the Pacific ocean, torched, electrocuted, and many other painful methods.
What's more many of these clips are being played by the broadcasting zeppelins in Falmart with the line that keeps on repeating: "For every enslaved Britannian killed ten Saderan will be executed." This along with the Black Knights hunting and killing every slaver they come across made a very fearsome reputation.
Schneizel used this fear to get many of the kingdom that rely heavily on slavery to bend to his plans, his proposal is for them to free their slave and offer them to go their own way or honorary citizenship, for the honorary after a few years of service they'll be granted full citizenship. They are few who outright refused but after delivering a veiled threat they reluctantly agree. He still remembered it though when a noble declines his methods all he said was. "Very well, perhaps some other time were we can negotiate better, though I'll be very busy by then so it'll be Lelouch who will come here later on."
When he said this he can clearly see the colors draining from the noble, in a frighten tone he said. "Y-your b-brother, the B-Black Prince, a-are you certain? Why can't it be you?"
"Because I'm not only the Second Prince but also the Prime Minister of Britannia, there be many issues that needs my attention, since you don't want to talk to me further I'll just take my leave."
"W-wait, maybe I was too hasty in my decision."
And that the lord bow down to his whims, lest he found himself impaled on a stake. Things are going as they like as Schneizel went to talk Tyuule about the other Bunny women, apparently a large number have been calling out for her blood.
Chapter End
AN: Sorry for the long delay, been busy lately. I wanted to say that I'm planning to post a revised version, kinda like TheDrkKnight12's GATE: Worlds At War V2, more details, more character depth and such. So here's an extra were it might become the new version of this story.
Extra
At the foot of the sacred hill of Alnus a large army is gathering, a massive army under the command of Cadmus Sipto Quinten an Imperial Legate of the Saderan Army. There are three types of Legate: the Legion Legate is a man in charge of a single Legion, Imperial Legate is a rank that allows them to lead other Legates and their Legions on the field, and then there is the Supreme Legate who has total control of all soldiers of Sadera.
This title is only reserve for the most the prominent and intelligent of military commanders, and it is only active in times of severe crisis. He would love to received such an honorable post but as much as he hates to admit that spot will very likely go to the best Legate the Saderan ever have: Arcturius Decimus Maximus. This man lead seven legions against a nation that could rival the Saderan Empire in terms of military might, the campaign lasted ten long years until they finally defeated the last remnants of Kushani resisting forces.
That was two years ago, now it's his time to shine, an opportunity in shape of the legendary Gate on Alnus hill, a mystical structure that open passages to other worlds. With the fall of the empire from the Far East and the subjugation of the demihumans from the North, Sadera is effectively the master of the Continent of Falmart, and their glorious Emperor want to bring their light of civilization to the otherworldly savages and lay claim to their lands, an ambitious plan to control not just one but two worlds.
But there are others who aren't so keen in the plot, a huge gamble on Molt's part, completely ignoring the possibility that the civilization on the other side could be very advance, thinking of swords that can cut through shield and armor, or arrows that can pierce and kill three men, senator Casel El Tiberius even mention of structures so tall that it reach the heavens, he voiced his concerns to the Emperor but is swept aside, reasoning that a swift and shocking attack is enough to bring any nation to heel. Knowing that further complains will be ignored they just went along with his plan.
Cadmus is leading eight legions, Legion Five Alba, Legion Six Clypeus, Legion Eleven Spathi, Legion Thirty, Legion Fourteen Doma, Legion Nine Ignis, Legion Seven Fortunae, and Legion Sixteen Telta. The first three he's most familiar with Alba being his favored, Legion Thirty is relatively new made up new recruits with few veteran Centurion, Doma, Ignis, Fortunae, Legion Sixteen Telta were considered veteran and privileged due to the fact that the Heir to the Throne Prince Zorzal lead these legions in the controversial Sadera-Bunny War. He did request some of Arcturius' Legions to come and aid him but the man sent a missive back stating that due to how new the provinces in the east he'll need all of his Legions to keep order and secure the land, his answer didn't surprise Cadmus, conquered people do tends to rebel, no matter, more glory for him.
Joining these Legions are auxiliaries of many demihumans, orcs, ogres, goblins and other foul creatures. Another group who are joining them is Col Formal and a thousand Italican foot soldiers and cavalry, his reason for coming? His eldest daughter Elle who is married to Publius Septimus Antonius, a Primus Pilus, she is also coming with the army along with other officer's family, with this the Italicans will very likely to stick close to Legion Seven Fortunae.
When the great doors of the fabled Gate opened he commanded a few cohorts and hundreds of auxiliaries to march onward.
What do you think? There's gonna be more to it, like Elle is joining with her new born son, conflict whether she sides with her father or her husband.
And lastly, I wanted to tell you guys that I'm planning to make my own story, aspiring to be an author, I already posted a few chapters in three sites. If you guys are interested ask me through PM or comments.
