Sunday Morning

Garrett woke up at 7:30 Sunday morning. He got out of bed and went downstairs and began a pot of coffee. He started the coffee and looked for things to make breakfast.

15 minutes later, Maggie came downstairs and saw Garrett outside on the balcony enjoying his cup of coffee. She went outside.

Garrett heard the door shut and looked to see who it was.

"Good morning." Garrett said.

"Good morning." Maggie replied.

Maggie went over to Garrett and gave him a kiss and sat in his lap.

"How long have you been up?" Maggie asked.

Garrett rested his cheek on Maggie's head, "15 minutes."

"Why are you up. It's before 8."

"I wanted to make breakfast, but we don't have anything."

"We have no breakfast food in this house?"

Garrett shook his head.

Maggie got off of Garrett's lap, "Mr. Borne, if I go in that kitchen and find stuff for breakfast, you're going to be in big trouble."

"Let's go look then."

Garrett followed Maggie back in the house.

Maggie reached the kitchen and turned on the light. She went to the pantry and found pancake mix and muffin mix. She went over to Garrett and set the two breakfast items in front of his face.

"I swear, they weren't in there 15 minutes ago." Garrett said.

"Would you like to help me make pancakes, or are you going to pout?" Maggie asked.

"I am not pouting."

"Baby, you're pouting. I see it in your eyes."

"Fine. Let's make pancakes…Pancake Queen."

Maggie laughed and turned on the stove.

Garrett came up behind her and hugged her.

"I love you." Garrett whispered.

"I love you too. It's quiet." Maggie mentioned.

"It is. Do you want to look for a place for us?"

"Yeah. But it has to be close to mom's."

"Of course. Apartment or a house?"

"House. Not too big though."

"Why not?"

"It's just us 3."

"You don't want to turn 3 into 4?"

"I didn't say that, I was talking about right now. We can probably get an apartment while we're figuring everything out."

"Want to think on it?"

Maggie nodded.

Reagan & Hunter

Reagan woke up at 8:00 that morning to the sound of laughter coming from downstairs. She put her robe on and walked downstairs and saw Maggie and Garrett making pancakes. She smiled to herself and went back upstairs and snuggled with Hunter.

Hunter rolled over and felt her get back in bed, "Where were you?"

"I heard noise downstairs, but it was just Maggie and Garrett making pancakes." Reagan said.

"They didn't see you?"

"No. I didn't even speak to them. I figured we can spend a little more time in bed as an engaged couple."

"Do you like the ring?"

"Of course. Why wouldn't I like the ring?"

"I didn't know what you wanted, so I kinda put everything together myself."

"You did an amazing job, baby. I love it. I love you."

"I love you too."

Hunter moved closer to Reagan and kissed her.

Reagan heard Hunter's stomach growling. She pulled away, "You hungry, baby?"

"Yep. Can we get dressed and go eat?" Hunter said.

"Of course."

Reagan and Hunter walked down the stairs and saw Garrett and Maggie making a mess.

"What in the hell are you two doing?" Reagan asked.

Maggie jumped and turned around, "Making pancakes."

"Really? I think the kitchen exploded."

Garrett chuckled.

Reagan looked at Garrett, "What's so funny Borne?"

"It's just when it just used to be us two at my apartment, we would make a total mess making pancakes. I guess I kinda miss that part of my life." Garrett said.

Maggie looked shocked at Garrett's confession, "You miss that part of your life?"

"Yeah. I mean when it was just us two. But I love you and the little family that we have started."

"Nice save."

Garrett sighed.

"Are the flapjacks ready?" Hunter asked.

"Yeah. They're on the table with juice and syrup." Maggie said.

Hunter and Reagan went to the table and began to eat.

Maggie was about to sit down before she remembered to call her mom.

"I'll be back in a second. I have a quick call to make." Maggie said.

"What's wrong?" Garrett asked.

"Nothing. I just have to call mom."

"Ok."

Maggie turned on her heels and went back up to the bedroom and grabbed her phone and dialed Juliet's number.

Juliet

"Hello?" Juliet asked.

"Hey momma." Maggie said.

"Hey baby girl. What's up?"

"I was calling to let you know, that we are heading home today. Dad told me to call you on the day we leave, so he can get supplies for Hunter and Reagan's little get together at the house later today."

"Ok. Do you want to talk to him?"

"No not really."

"You, Maggie Grace Spencer, do not want to talk to your father?"

"Not right now. I just finished cooking breakfast and I have yet to eat."

"Ok. I love you. I'll let dad know."

"I love you too momma."

Juliet hung up the phone and went to the bedroom where Shawn was watching TV with Morgan.

Shawn saw the door open and saw Juliet enter.

"Hey baby." Shawn said.

"Hey baby. What are you two doing?" Juliet asked.

"Just watching TV. What's up?"

"Just got off the phone with Mags. She told me to tell you that they are coming back this afternoon. And something about a party."

"Oh yeah, I need to go to the store in a bit. Are you good here watching Morgan by yourself?"

"Shawn, you act like I'm not even a mom. I'm a mother with 6 kids."

"Yeah, but they're grown. This nugget is still tiny."

"Shawn, I can handle a couple of hours."

"Ok. I'll get going in a few minutes."

Juliet smiled. She got in bed with Shawn and put her head in the crook of his neck.

Maggie

Maggie got done eating and sat back and visited with Reagan and Hunter for a little bit.

"Reagan what did you think of last night?" Maggie asked.

"I was shocked. I didn't think it was coming so soon." Reagan said.

"It was beautiful. You did good Hunter."

"Thanks, Mags. Garrett, how did you propose to Maggie?" Hunter asked.

Maggie looked at Garrett.

Garrett caught her eye and bent down and whispered, "Can I tell them?"

"Of course." Maggie said.

Garrett smiled.

Garrett sat back up and began, "I got the ring two months prior to our engagement. I was waiting for the right moment, but I was waiting for the perfect moment. Maggie had a scare a couple of years ago thinking she wasn't able to get pregnant. Her and Juliet went to the doctor. The doctor ran some tests and sent them home. 45 minutes after they got home the doctor called and told Maggie that everything was perfect. I had no idea what was going until she told me after that phone call. Something told me in my heart, that I wanted Maggie and I wanted to start a family with her. So I took Shawn outside and asked them right before I proposed. Of course she said yes."

"Who wouldn't say yes to that face?" Maggie asked.

Garrett smiled and pulled Maggie closer to him.

"Wow, Maggie. You didn't even tell me about this scare." Reagan mentioned.

"I know and I feel terrible about it, since I tell you everything else. I guess I just wanted to keep my heart guarded until I knew the answer." Maggie explained.

"Now look at you two. You have a 5 month old daughter."

"Yeah we do. She came a lot earlier than expected, but we're so happy she's here."

"What do you mean a lot earlier?"

"Meaning, we wanted to wait a while to try and have a kid. I was pregnant and didn't know it at the wedding. I found out when we were in New York on our honeymoon."

"Wow. That is a lot sooner."

Maggie looked at her phone and saw that the time was 9:45.

"Baby, do you want to shower first?" Maggie asked.

"Sure." Garrett said.

"Go get clean and I'll pick up down here."

Garrett nodded.

Garrett got up from the table and went and took a shower.

As soon as Garrett got upstairs Maggie started cleaning up.

Hunter stopped Maggie, "Maggie, you don't have to clean up for us."

"I know. It's just I made breakfast and practically destroyed the kitchen, I should clean it." Maggie said.

"How about you go sit down on the couch with your best friend and talk."

"Since when are you being nice?"

"I've always been nice."

"Always?"

"Well…when it comes to Reagan…I'm a little selfish. Now that I know I have her forever, I'm backing off a bit."

Maggie laughed, "Ok. Thank you."

Maggie walked away from the kitchen and went and sat down next to Reagan outside on the beach chairs.

Maggie walked outside and saw Reagan in her chair. She walked up to the other chair and asked, "Want some company?"

"Of course. Sit down next to me!" Reagan said.

Maggie sat down next to Reagan and sat in silence for a few minutes, just enjoying the quietness.

Reagan looked at Maggie and said, "How long were you two engaged for?"

"About a year. Why?" Maggie asked.

"I'm thinking of how long we should be engaged for."

"It differs for each couple. I had a date stowed away in my head for a couple of years and it just happened to work out."

Reagan nodded.

Garrett

Garrett got out of the shower, dried off, and began to get dressed. Once he was dressed he began packing for the trip back. He went out on the balcony and saw Maggie talking with Reagan.

"Maggie!" Garrett yelled.

Maggie turned around and saw her husband yelling at her.

"What?" Maggie exclaimed.

"Come up here."

Maggie nodded. She turned back around and said, "Don't forget we are going to my house when we hit Santa Barbara."

"Of course." Reagan said.

Maggie hugged Reagan and went upstairs to see what Garrett was yelling about. She opened the bedroom door and saw Garrett packing.

"What the hell?" Maggie asked.

"What?" Garrett asked.

"Why'd you scream?"

"I was going to tell you that the shower was ready for you, but my mind drew a complete blank for a second."

"Aww that's cute."

"Stop it. Now you better get in that shower before I get mad."

Maggie turned around, "Mad? How mad are we talking about?"

Garrett grabbed Maggie's wrist and pulled her up against him, "Oh baby, you know how mad I get."

Maggie looked Garrett dead in the eyes, "No."

Garrett smirked and kissed Maggie.

Maggie tried to get control back and walked him into a wall.

Garrett pulled away, "You sure?"

Maggie smiled, "I am, but you look so nice I don't want to ruin your outfit."

"I'm about to ruin my outfit, if something doesn't happen in the next 5 minutes."

Maggie walked up to Garrett and whispered in his ear, "Can you wait until later tonight?"

Garrett swallowed roughly and nodded.

Maggie kissed Garrett on the cheek and went and took a shower.

Garrett sat back on the bed flustered and trying to calm down. Once he calmed down, he began to pack again. He went into the bathroom and grabbed Maggie's dirty clothes and put them in the bag.

Reagan & Hunter

Reagan came back inside and saw her fiancé cleaning the kitchen.

"Wow, if this is you as a fiancé, it's kinda hot." Reagan flirted.

Hunter raised his eyebrows, "Hot? You're the hot one."

Reagan reached Hunter and turned him to her, "Nah. I think I bagged the hottest guy ever."

Hunter threw the sponge in the sink and walked up to Reagan, "You definitely bagged a sexy beast."

Reagan laughed and wrapped her arms around Hunter's neck and kissed him.

"I love you." Hunter whispered.

"I love you too. Wanna go get ready?" Reagan asked.

"Yeah."

Hunter left the kitchen alone and went upstairs with Reagan and began to pack up and get dressed.

Shawn

Shawn got out of bed at 11 that morning and got ready. He was fixing to walk out the door before Juliet stopped him.

"Shawn Spencer, I know you aren't leaving this house without giving me a kiss." Juliet smiled.

Shawn smiled to himself and walked toward Juliet. Once he got to Juliet he grabbed her by the waist and kissed her deeply. He pulled away when oxygen was needed and rested his forehead on hers.

"How was that?" Shawn asked.

"Amazing." Juliet said.

"I love you."

"I love you too. Be safe."

Shawn left the house and went to the store and got stuff for the party happening in a few hours.

Garrett & Maggie

Maggie got out of the shower and got dressed. She walked out of the bathroom dressed and saw Garrett finishing packing.

"Got it babe?" Maggie asked.

"I sure do. Are Reagan and Hunter ready?" Garrett asked.

"I don't know. Let me go check. Double check everything please."

Garrett nodded.

Maggie left the bedroom and went and knocked on Reagan's door.

Reagan came to the door a few seconds later with a sheet over her body.

"I was about to ask you if you and Hunter were ready to hit the road, but I guess you guys need more time." Maggie said.

"Yeah. You guys go ahead. We won't be but 30 minute behind." Reagan said.

"30 minutes behind? Try an hour." Hunter yelled.

Maggie laughed, "Ok. An hour."

Reagan shook her head and mouthed, "30 minutes."

Maggie giggled.

"Ok, well we are going for a walk on the beach. Y'all get ready and call me when you're done." Maggie said.

"Of course." Reagan said.

Maggie smiled and winked and walked away. She went back to Garrett in their bedroom.

"Gare? Where are you?" Maggie asked.

Maggie looked out the window and saw him walking on the beach. She grabbed her shoes and threw them on and walked up to him.

"Baby!" Maggie yelled.

Garrett turned around and smiled.

Maggie met Garrett halfway.

"What are you doing?" Maggie asked.

"Just enjoying the quietness." Garrett said.

"You really miss the quiet days don't you?"

"I do. I hope you aren't mad about that."

"Why would I be mad?"

"You would think I regretted fooling around that night after the baseball tournament before the wedding."

"Do you regret it?"

Garrett shook his head.

"Then, I'm not mad. You're being completely honest with me. To be honest, I miss it when it was just us two in your apartment."

Garrett smiled softly, "Do you regret having a baby so early?"

Maggie looked at Garrett, "No. Absolutely not. She's our little blessing. She's the baby I thought I could never have."

Garrett pulled Maggie into a tight hug, "I know."

Maggie pulled away and saw Reagan on the balcony.

"Let's go home." Maggie said.

Maggie got up and offered Garrett her hand.

Garrett grabbed her hand and they walked up the beach to the steps and met Reagan at the door.

"Ready?" Maggie asked.

Reagan nodded.

Garrett went to the bedroom and grabbed their bag for the weekend and put them in the car.

Maggie went over to Reagan, "Ready to party?"

Reagan laughed, "With the Spencers? Absolutely."

Maggie threw her head back and laughed.

Garrett started the car and got out and went over to Maggie.

Maggie looked at Garrett and saw something in his eyes that worried her.

"Hey, we're gonna go. I'll see you guys in about an hour and a half at the house." Maggie said.

"Ok. See you in a bit." Reagan said.

Maggie grabbed Garrett's hand and went and got in the car.

Garrett got in the car and started it.

"Babe, what's wrong?" Maggie asked.

"Nothing. Why?" Garrett asked.

"You had a look in your eyes that I've never seen before."

"Everything is fine. You look hot by the way."

"Thank you baby."

Garrett started on the hour journey back to Santa Barbara.

Halfway through the drive Maggie called Juliet.

"Hello?" Juliet asked.

"Hey mom." Maggie said.

"Are you guys on your way?"

"We are halfway there. Does that give you enough time to do everything?"

"Yep. I'll see you in a bit."

"Thank you. I love you."

"Love you too."

Maggie hung up the phone and turned on the radio and started to sing to a song Garrett didn't know.

30 Minutes Later

30 minutes later, Garrett pulled into the driveway and Hunter pulled in right behind them.

They all got out of their cars and went to the front door.

Maggie unlocked the front door and welcomed everyone inside.

"Mom!" Maggie yelled.

Juliet rounded the corner and smiled at Maggie.

"Hey baby girl. How are you?" Juliet asked.

"We are good. Reagan has something to show you." Maggie said.

Reagan went up to Juliet and showed Juliet her ring.

Juliet looked at Reagan's ring.

"Reagan! You're kidding?" Juliet asked.

Hunter walked into the house, "Nope. I'm the fool that put that ring on her finger."

Juliet hugged Reagan and then Hunter.

Shawn ran downstairs to see what all the noise was about.

"Guys, there's a baby sleeping." Shawn whispered harshly.

Maggie nodded.

Shawn went over to Reagan and got up in her business.

"Why is everyone looking at you?" Shawn asked.

"She's engaged Shawn." Juliet said.

"Wait, for real?"

Reagan nodded.

"Congratulations."

Shawn stepped in and hugged Reagan and fist bumped Hunter.

"Well, we have fresh pineapple, champagne for mimosas or just straight, we have tons of snacks, oh and there's a cake that says, 'Congratulations Hunter & Reagan'."

"Thank you for all this, Mr. Spencer." Reagan said.

"Reagan, you've been family for 15 years, call me Shawn." Shawn said.

"You can also call me Juliet." Juliet added.

Reagan smiled and hugged the Spencers.

Regan pulled away and then went and enjoyed the little party that Shawn put together just for them.

That was a long one! I have ideas written down. Feel free to suggest more!
