Cat, Wolf, Eagle
It was a cool crisp morning, the morning mists were slowly burning away from the rising sun. Levi was standing at the battlements above the headquarters entrance. Not moving. His morning cup of tea clenched in his hands and his face frozen in disbelief. Mike and Hanji noticed that this had been going on for several minutes so out of concern they walked over.
"Levi?"
"Hanji..."
"Yes?"
"What did you tell Eren?"
"Eh?" Hanji asked in confusion as she walked over to him then broke down giggling. Mike peeked over the battlements and snorted with mirth.
"Hanji? Levi what did you do to her?" Erwin asked in confusion as he and Armin came down. He had been working with him on developing a signal flight pattern. Armin caught sight of the obstruction in front of the door, he couldn't help but face palm.
"Not again Eren...We talked about this."
Laying in front of the doors to headquarters...was a 2m Titan. Still very much alive and tied up.
"EREN!" Levi shouted. The cat shifter meowed as he appeared beside them like a shadow.
"Nyan?"
"Eren what is that?"
"Nyan."
"I can see that...why is here?"
"Nyan? Nyan nyan!"
"What do you mean it's a present?"
"Nyan!"
"...Heichou can understand him in cat form?" Hanji whispered in a tone of conspiracy. Erwin sighed in disbelief.
"Levi...did you put hard liquor in your tea again?"
Hanji and Mike shuddered at the reminder of what happened at the New Year's party. After that day it was an unspoken rule in the Legion to NEVER give the man anything stronger than weak wine.
"A Titan is not a present, maybe to Four Eyes..." Levi paused. "No I haven't raided the liquor again."
"Oh Thank the Wall." The adults sighed. Armin blinked.
"Do I even want to know?"
"NO!"
"Just know if he ever gets depressed and/or angry...hide all the booze." Erwin said solemnly.
The next morning Erwin passed Levi at breakfast with a sleeping half-cat Eren next to him...and a basket of tea.
"Levi..."
"I know...he's a regular cat burglar."
An early happy birthday to our favorite tea loving corporal.
