LOVE IT

I would love to see a chapter where Bones tells Spock how bad Jim was when Spock left in the first one. Just to see his reaction. It's not that I hate Spock I love him it's just when I read jim's emotions and thoughts both in the first one and in this one I can't help but feel them with him. And I don't know I feel like it's just a little bit personal.

Sadly, Kirk is going back to his old habits where, rather than talk things out with Spock, he makes a decision and refuses to consider Spock's opinion or feelings. He'll lose him again if he's not careful.
If you return to this, I think you need a Beta, especially when it comes to grammar and spelling (it's Vulcans, not Vulcan's) but also to help with some of the inconsistencies.
You have a fine story here that just needs a little tweaking to be even better.

The explanation for Amanda surviving was valid, but this was not mentioned in the previous story, plus Spock felt a blank where she was in his consciousness. Imo it might have been more effective to rewrite that portion of the story and include her rescue.

What a clever start - giving Kirk a valid reason to be on New Vulcan. I'm glad you also took him through the stages of grief. He needed to accept it was he who caused the destruction of their relationship, not Spock, and his own selfishness that contributed to it.
I found it odd Amanda was dead at the end of the first story but not so in the sequel. She's clearly a useful character in this, but it would have been a fantastic challenge to try and reunite Spock and Kirk without her as a driving force.

This story is fangtastic. I read the prequel to this and was quite sad when they had not bonded. Reading this was very much exciting as I do so love the relationship between Jim and Spock. I cannot wait to see how it all turns out. :3

BTW, didn't Spock's mother die when Vulcan was destroyed. At least, that's what you wrote in the first story. It was rather confusing reading the first chapter and that she is still alive.

This was an incredible chapter. I feel for both Spock and Jim here. They both want a child of their own, but Jim's too terrified of losing Spock. I can't wait for the next chapter.
