Loved this! You did a great job with the character's voices and I could totally see this scenario happening.

This story is really good. I never read the Queen's Thief series, nor do I know much about it. I accidentally clicked on your story on a favorites list, and didn't realize it until I started reading. Usually when I do this I close the tab, but the story really sucked me in.

I like the relationship between Sophos and Gen. You can see that Sophos really loves Gen, and would accept any wish that Gen would have.

I think the next time I'm in a bookstore, I will try and pick up a couple from the series.

I think that this fic is actually flawless.

You wrote the characters phenomenally well, and delivered a wondrously Gen-esque plot – and you even worked in lots of great deadpan humor in spite of how serious the overall tone of the fic is. And the ending line is perfect.

I could easily buy this as canon. I loved every bit of it! Wonderfully well done.
