Interesting story.

Holy cow that was good. Honestly, Tony, has me shaken and I wish there was more to this. We get to see more of the real Tony Dinozzo. And people will have to live with it.

I love the "Kill them with kindness (of a sort) and Politeness" aspect you've got Tony doing.
I hope, if you continue this in a sequel, that he does open up to someone else, perhaps someone from another agency or ?

Great story

This was a good ending, but I would still have liked to see consequences. For example, McGee and David getting written up for insubordination or the team falling apart when there's no one to cut the tension with a little humor or re-direct Gibbs bad humor. But letting the reader generate their own outcomes works as well.

This is one of my favourite stories and I have read it multiple was never treated with the respect he deserved.

While I'm a sucker for a happy ending, this heart-rending situation and conclusion is very believable.

I could also believe the team again getting angry at Tony for not reverting to his previous persona, instead of accepting the consequences of their own behaviors.

The sign of a great author is when you can read a story again and again, and that my friend is what you can do. I know that it's been a while since you've written this but I really wish you'd do a sequel and let us (me) know what happens after this one. Does Tony stay aloof, does he let them back in? What happens next? Where do we go from here? And no I won't resort to puppy eyes. Lol
