| Pari B chapter 3 . 2/4/2015 Thank you for this version of Katniss; the one that truly recognizes that it's Peeta's love that will heal her. She tends to be rather selfish when it comes to him and I'm glad that in this story she is more giving of her affection. Her continued affirmations of her feelings and even the fact that she's the one to propose shows an emotional growth that I think a lot of HG readers wanted to see. I also wanted to add that I really appreciated your characterization of Gale. I never really thought he professed a true love for her, that it was borne out of some caveman like possessiveness. Like he'd known her the longest so therefore she's his. I had never put together the fact that he only started to show interest in her after noting Darius's flirtation. I guess that should have been a clue to us. |
