I just want to say that I read this story a few years ago, was in love with it, and decided to read it again. I have read these first 28 chapters in less than 2 days!

So Peeta and Finnick are Gale's half-brothers? I wonder how that works, and who their respective parents are?

I keep re-reading this story because it is, hands down, one of my favorites! I LOVE slow-burn stories, especially with Katniss and Peeta. This was just fantastic, I hope you never stop writing.

I'm no Gale fan, but Katniss has absolutely no right to emotionally manipulate him into staying in that house with she and Peeta being together just because she can't bear to have someone else leave her. So unbelievably selfish of her to ask him that.
That's just weird and would never happen in reality. Gale needs to move out or she does. Why would anyone stay and watch their ex be in love with their "former" best friend/brother?
She can't have her cake and eat it to.

Gale's quick hookup in a bar with some nameless girl is bad...but the sleeping with and touching and rubbing on each other,
all the while saying it's not cheating because the haven't kissed or had sex is splitting a fine line. Pot, meet kettle...

I don't understand why Gale even likes Katniss at this point let alone is still in love with her when she's proven herself to be a lying, manipulative, selfish fucking bitch.

Oh my gosh this fanfic! I remember reading this bout a year ago and I LOVED IT! I only just found it again today and I swear I have never been so happy in my life! I've only started reading the first chapter again but I already love it! Thank u soooo much u are such a fun and brilliant writer!

I'm so bummed that after everything, we only get one line to sum of Gale's life in this epilogue. I would love to have had a little more detail, to know that he was happy and why he and Madge are still only dating. After everything, it would have been poetic for the wedding to be his and Madge's. to know that all the drama with Katniss didn't fuck him up entirely. Sadly it seems to have as his relationship with Madge is moving so much slower than the other two if they are still only dating, and not living together or engaged.
