Ooh I love this! Great little story :)

This was an extremely sad episode. I hated Pelant & the way he was able to get away with so much. I always love the way David B. Directs. Like your story, I had wished that something would have brought her back. I hated that she communicated with Angela, who wouldn't share with Booth. Come on, I know the why, but really? So, I love this version so much more.

Woah. Intense. Loved it :)

This is gorgeous. Brennan's fears about Booth...her inability not to check herself after the last time he was shot, her bringing a picture of Christine (who has changed so much), her new view of her father... I hope that Max's on-the-run persona will convince Booth that forcing the issue with Brennan and Max "needing" to be close might not be fair. Sure, he'll protect her, but he'll also be a tyrant about it and act without her wishes and in ways that (like shooting at Taffet) are not in her long-term best interest. At any rate, I like what you've done with the alarm clock, with Pelant knowing she's there, with her slipping out again, with Booth's impotent frustration and fury and *hope*...and the comparison that, yes, Pelant is more devious, but no, he's not SMARTER than Bren. Well done throughout.

Great story. I love it even if it did make me cry again when Brennan left. I like that it ended with a clue for them in the hunt for Pelant. Waiting for the next installment.

That was fantastic!

Things I especially like about this story, in no particular order:

1. Oh, you went there. First writer to dare them back together. I love that they were immediately occupying the same space.

2. The echo of the night spent together after VNM died. Clever and sweet.

3. You did something about the effing clock. Just the knowledge of it is driving me crazy.

4. The picture. The computer and new computer.

And finally...

5. The way the story just BEGS for a second chapter. Don't you love that too!

Woah! This was so good Ren!

I loved that she went back to check on him, and had the picture with her, but it was so sad when she had to leave. It broke my heart all over again.

Best thing was that she left the picture for him on the bed, awww. And also that he closed his eyes, loved that he didn't want to see her leave him again.

You are awesome!

Also, this didn't feel like a oneshot, and I hate to say this, but I want more! lol

This is the first post S7 finale fic I've read, and it seems realistic. I don't like how the season ended, and I think Bones would need to do something like this to prove how much she loves Booth.

I love this - how hard it is for Brennan to walk away, the resentment Booth feels (but how he still believes in the system), Brennan's worry about how this will affect Christine.
