What an inspired work of fantasy this was and I wished it never had to end! My favorite image was Marty leaping out of the water with a joyful cry at the end. I could see and hear it so clearly.

This was such a wonderful story! So balanced, so emotional, but not too much of anything. I love that mermen are such a fantasy creature, but the story has such a real setting. I believe I have complemented your work before, but I just can't get over how worked up I get over your stories! Anyway, thank you so much for such a great story!

I have to be completely honest...when I first started reading this, I thought the mermaid idea was the most ridiculous thing ever given the kind of show NCIS LA is. It would be one thing if this were a Charmed fic or something, but I almost didn't finish. Well I stuck with it, finished it, and wow...such as awesome story. Once I got over the mermaid thing, I really enjoyed it. I loved the way it was written and how you captured the characters so perfectly. You really made the mermaid thing work so perfectly for Deeks.

I know I reviewed this less than aweek ago, but I just had to leave another. Thanks to this story I had to put off studying for my finals to buy and watch NCIS Los Angeles. To tell you the truth, I was actually nervous to watch the show, because I loved the way you described the characters and had them interact so much, that I was afraid I wouldn't find the show as good. Now, after watching 2 seasons, I'm so stoked to know that they are as you portrayed them, and now I'm totally hooked on the show. :) I still think I have read this story every day, multiple times. Not to mention every other story on here (I love your Avengers work). And I can safely say I love this one too! I can't wait to see what your next one is and I'm sure whatever you write, I will be right there ready to read! Thanks for the great reads so far!

Loved this. I have never read a NCIS story, I've never even seen the show. I read it purely because of how much I love your avengers work! I don't know if you've considered it but I would dearly love to see a continuation to this, it's such a different idea! :) now I might have to go watch the show! But first I have to go re-read this!

i really liked this story. You should continue with it. You could write about Marty and Sam's first time swimming together just as an idea.
