Matt vaguely felt like Joe in this fic, what with all with worrying and stuttering and tangents. Still super cute though. Loved the "hoodwinked by his friend yet again" comment, makes Tai sound like a dastardly thief in the night.

Everything is so funny and the characterisation is flawless!

This was funny and sweet and I really liked it ;)

I found Matt a bit too emotional (as in, sudden burst emotional in normal situations) but that's alright, maybe 'cause I'm used to the sub. I really liked Taichi though, and it's not often I like Taichi more than Yamato in fics! But his character was really accurate here :)

But what I liked, was Matt's quiet determination to do something for Tai. I just found it, sweet. I also liked how there was humor but also angst, but yay for ending in humor :)

I didn't watch the dub so I usually don't read fics with dub names (no offence if you watch the dub but I just rediscovered Digimon this year) but this caught my eye. It's not as if I avoid or absolutely won't read fics with dub names, but I just prefer 'Taichi' and 'Yamato' 'cause that's how I know them as. But I can say I really, genuinely enjoyed this and I'm favoriting this ;)

Man, I wish you wrote only Taito so I would have a bunch of humorous, fluffy Taito fics to read! Ah ignore me, I just really like the pairing and believe it's canon and I come up with theories and stuff. Which is why I adore you keeping their rivalry and saying their relationship hasn't changed so much outwardly - because yeah, I agree that's what their relationship would be like.

I swear, you have created the best little gem of Taichi/Yamato writing on the planet. I just re-read To Catch An Ishida and wanted to review again telling you how it literally brightened my mood ten-fold, but it wouldn't let me.

The way you portray their relationship is positively stellar. The hand-holding street-crossing bit, absolutely precious.

The simplistic bluntness of their whole relationship is what I had envisioned their relationship to be like way back when I watched Digimon as a kid. (Oh dear god, I am just realizing now that I have had this weird lust for reading about fictional characters' homosexual romances even as a young girl who didn't even really know what homosexuality was. Lawl)

What a cute story! I read your stuff just 'cus your writing is so good even though you ship Tai-To (I prefer Yamachi). Your Matt's a little too easily flustered/girly for me but I love your Tai-characterization. Not doing drama/angst & finding other ways to carry a story is HARD but you do it so well! Arghh - I wish you'd write a Yama-Chi story but be able to keep Tai in character as well as you do in Tai-To. But even if you don't, you get nothing but love from me :)
