Very sweet in an angsty way. I'm happy they ended up together. It did sounds like the worst would happen sometimes in this story.

Awwww gd for them.. I loved it loads but i think the characters were very similar to Jake and nessie ( not dissing or anything )
I think u should write more about these characters but in a different style

This is definately one of my favourite stories

As one of a minority who really likes this pairing, I have to say, I really liked this. You could so easily have made Garrett's voice sound 'Jasperised' but you didn't. And Kate is sad and upset and angry, but not overly angsty. Really well written.

I never even thought about a story for these two characters, and yet I had to read this - it looked wonderful, and it was! Very well done, I love all your stuff!

Okay, so when you gave me the link and told me it was Kate/Garrett, I was thinking 'Ugh, why write about them? Nobody knows their characters' and then as I read this I was thinking 'Why doesn't anyone else write about them? Nobody knows their characters.'

You have taken two minor characters in a novel and turned them into full main characters that suffer from inner turmoil and relationship issues. You've given them depth. I really enjoyed it, because I like reading a lot of Jasper/Alice fics and this was similar to their bond. Garrett is doing his best to give up the life he has always known just to be with the woman he loves, and it's strong men like that, that form a truly admirable character.

I love Kate's relationship with Edward, because I had liked his interactions with Tanya in Midnight Sun, and I've always wondered how he would act around any other member of the Denali Coven. I also like the comparison of Kate's relationship with Garrett to Renesmee's with Jacob.

I'm happy to say that you've turned me on to Kate/Garrett, and you should be damn proud, because that is one of the hardest things for an author to do. You have taken someone who only read specific pairings and brought them a completely new one, with only tidbits of similarities between the pairing they favor and the new one.

This was incredibly well written, and I'm glad we made our little link switch deal so that I could discover this gem of a fic. Keep up the fabulous work!

You really have a knack for details, giving us a look into how Garrett and Kate's lives are without each; their mourning, loneliness, heartbreak from day to day. The love Garrett has for Kate is beyond words; just his determination to change back to his new diet... to gain back the golden color of his eyes says so much about his feelings. I'm glad that in the end they ended up together. :)

Whenever I look at that banner, I think I may die a little bit inside. I love it. Kate is so stubborn, and real, and Russian. Garrett... so honest with his emotions. Brava, doll!
