PLZ FINISH! MY FEELS CANT TAKE IT!

Oh man, why didn't I look at the last update before reading this? Why!? So many feels that will never be resolved.

This is a great story! I would love more of it if you had the time. :D

This is good. The tension between Atal and Eruanna, wanting each other and knowing they shouldn't because they're supposed to be enemies. You've kept the suspense going very well, although I have to admit I was expecting that last revelation because it's what I would have done too. I look forward to the next chapter.

The fact that Atal feels jealousy for her having been with others, and that he knows it wasn't just scratching an itch but there was emotion involved, makes the reader want to slap him even more. So he is a tough guy who hasn't been domesticated before; why can't he admit how he feels now, about Eruanna, at least? Is it ego?

It's clear that even though there is lust there, there is also more than lust. As they said, ten years on who would still be pursuing anyone like either of them?

So why can't they just be together omg!?

You sure do know how to keep readers hanging. The story is difficult to stop reading, even when shouting at Atal to stop being a dummy the whole time. Why doesn't he just tell her! He wants to, and she clearly suspects it. Why can't they just be together and fluffy?

One comment: since elf and trolls are species like humans, should they be capitalized or not? Well I guess that's more of an open question than a comment.

Atal really comes off as so cruel here. He does mention that he felt hurt - I am assuming that he meant emotionally, and not simply the lump on his head - but from the way he dragged her to the awful thing he said about the gift he gave as a symbol of that night they shared together...for most of this chapter, he is very difficult to like. One feels the desire to slap him and tell him to be nice to someone who, after all those years, still obviously cares on some level. She kept that braid for an awfully long time.

[All the more reason to, you know...finish the story and have him man up and take care of his kid! ;) ]

It's cute how even when confronted with a troll that is an enemy as far as she knows, Eruanna still remembers Atal fondly from that night in the barrens. He's rough since he's a rogue though there is consolation once the story is finished, since he does try to be nice to her eventually.

You do real well with the whole gritty thing here, yet it still does come off as humorous.

One thing: the original story was from the female's perspective, while this one is from the male's. It's quite a jump; did it require a shift in how you planned and outlined the story?

There is so much else to comment on, as this was a well-written story even though the perspective switched from third-person with the first story to first-person with this. One thing to say here though, which can't wait...

...please finish! Atal is a likeable character, but will he be a good enough guy to take responsibility for what he did? Will he grow up a bit and be a part of this child's life, considering that she is still proud of her father despite not meeting him? Perhaps it's a bit too starry-eyed to think of Eruanna and Atal in a lovey-dovey everything-is-perfect relationship, but the right thing to do would still be to take care of his daughter even if he is shocked at first.

I loved this story so much! Update plz! It looks like this story has died in the eyes of the author or something if the other. I don't think you'll be updating any time soon or at all, but I can hope! Since it's dead though could maybe someone else try to continue the legacy of this great story? I sure hope they can compare to what the author has already written if so! I loved this story so much!

OMG, please, make Atal come back! T_T I've become so fond of him through all those chapters and in the end he just acts like a jerk! T_T Please, continue the story, write an honorable ending for him! :)

Please tell me that you are going to finish this story...or I'll assume that he never came back for the love of his life, and his daughter...
